Jimmy and I were the closest you could be from the 4th grade on. We started playing surf music when we were about 12 in the 8th grade. He played a Wurly . I played guitar. Our best friend Art Guy played drums. We met sax player Danny Belsky...soon Dave Doud on bass....and there it was. We wrote songs and recorded endlessly but didn't quite make it...ha! I was working with Danny Hutton founder of 3 Dog Night and introduced him to Jimmy. He was their heart and soul. I will forever miss my sweet friend This pic is about 1961-62 in HawaiiI thank God for loaning him to all of us by @michael_lloyd1

So.....Barry has announced he has a very small highly treatable lung cancer. Caught extremely early and will removed right away......He's gonna reschedule a few shows and be back kickin' it in no timeLet's all send prayers of rapid recovery and healing to my sweet friend🙏🙏🙏⭐️⭐️⭐️💕 by @michael_lloyd1

Saturday at Patty's Celebration of Life I spoke about time...it's so strange to me..... it moves slow.... it moves fast.... sometimes it doesn't seem to move at all. It may seem like a million years ago. But still, it feels again like today. A mystery. Saturday got me thinking more about time I guess. March 11 in 2015 I lost my oldest friend.....Jimmy Greenspoon.He got me into popular music. We built model cars together. We surfed together. We made music together for about 56 years. He was the heart and soul of 3 Dog Night....but more importantly, he was my friend.This pic of the 2 of us is around 1960 or so in Hawaii. We look really happy....it's how I will always remember him.I love you Jimmy............................. by @michael_lloyd1

We had a beautiful celebration for Patty today with about 250 family and friends I know she loved seeing all of them...and I wish she could have smiled one last time to each and every one. Quite a smile . . . Beautiful flowers from Barry and Gary....Cookie and Earvin...Kurt Linda Jeannie...and the Laker organization...so many others. She loved them allAs I said before...she's at heaven's beach where the water's warm and the music is perfectDr Love says.... she's has good vibrations !Mr Manilow says.....she's got the magic !I say.....she's the oneThank you God for loaning her to us by @michael_lloyd1

Wayne Osmond...my sweet friend for 55 years has crossed the rainbow bridge. We made some great records together. The biggest group in the world. 100 million records...... I remember Jay (drums) Merrill(bass) and Wayne and me on guitars at the MGM studios....endlessly! Wayne created the Crazy Horses riff... sang bass. He was the best friend anyone could have. We will one day make music together againI thank God for loaning brother Wayne to all of us. ....Michael Lloyd by @michael_lloyd1
