When the grass is so long, you almost lose your Field Day participants … that’s a win in our books! 🌱

A few highlights from last week’s BMRG Field Day at Moondooner, facilitated by Andrew Zerner as part of the Empowering Adaptive Graziers in the Burnett Mary project.

RCS has been proud to support this project through a Grazing for Profit School, on-farm consults and multiple field days — all helping producers build skills, confidence and resilience.

We welcomed 100+ graziers, some travelling up to four hours, to hear from an incredible line-up:

• Andrew Zerner — RCS
• Leesa Kelly, BMRG — Natural Capital
• Rob Young, Ecoinsects — Dung Beetles
• Michael Taylor, Taylor’s Run (2022 Farmer of The Year) — Trees on Farm

All in TWO WEEKS, shearing, snow storms, floods, flus, funerals, flights, blackouts, expos, research reports, photos, workshop AND a wedding....

2025 Merino wool harvest finally closed into bales and ready for market. It's been a dramatic couple of weeks but with so much support from all corners of the globe and my incredible family I cannot even complain 😎😍

Slightly croaky but fresh from the Global #Fashion Agenda Summit in Copenhagen. Insights and conversations on how the fashion industry is going to shift its' environmental impact. A wide range of subjects were covered by over 1000 attendees from 48 countries.

Just some of the great quotes this week showing support for a shift back to natural fibres that truly are 💯 biodegradable and renewable in the fashion industry. Lots more uncomfortable conversations to have but as a farmer of fibre it gave me hope.
