11/15/2025 ⬛️⬛️⬛️⬛️🟥🟥🟥⬛️ It’s been a long journey up to this point in life but to me it’s still just the beginning. I am so grateful for all my past and current mentors that have molded the man that you see today. Huge Mahalo to all my family and friends who flew in for this event and for all of the support over the years, it really means a lot! Also congratulations to everyone who got promoted especially my two jiujitsu brothers @mikeakiona & @matsohawaii it was an honor to be belted along side you guys. Just looking around that filled room last night brought out so many emotions and everything just felt right! Wouldn’t have it any other way:) I want to thank these professors for all the love & support @mr_wrath @waterfrontbrand @loachandler @brizzight @davidvsgoliathbjj @ajkeeponrollin @knee2belly @scott_hjjl @mrsphillybags & Tets by @michael_tengan

JIU JITSU KAIZEN ACADEMY SEMINAR✅ What an honor and great time to have taught my first seminar here in Hawaii with Professor @michael_tengan and the @jiujitsu_kaizen_academy family. It was so awesome to share my Jiu-Jitsu here in Hawaii and be able to share the mats with some of Hawaii’s coolest people. Thank you to the team for having me and I hope to be back many more times in the future. Special thank you to Professor Mikey for taking care of us and taking us to the Sandbar to spend my bday in paradise🤩🌴 Also special thank you to @knee2belly for flying out to come train and spend time with the family and me. We missed you Alika and it means a lot to have your support over all these years. Alika was a huge part in a lot of my training camps coming up, so it was awesome to see him again!🙏🏽❤️ #hawaii #seminar #worldchampion #thefuture by @michael_tengan
SIDEQUEST TO KANEOHE, HI 🌈 Grateful I took the time to train with Coach @michael_tengan owner @jiujitsu_kaizen_academy . This academy has so much heart ❤️ and the family vibes made for a memorable time🤙🏼 Great rolls, great conversation, and an even better reminder that we’re all trying to build something bigger than ourselves. Finished the session talking a little @pushpress and the future of academy growth. Good people doing good things. So come by and say hello and get that work 🫶🏼 #strongertogether Hit the link in my bio to learn more…KIM 🥰 #bjj #bjjlifestyle #giornogi #crm by @michael_tengan
My passion for this art that I have been doing most of my life has put me in a position where I can help others grow in confidence, overcome obstacles and unlock a potential they never knew they had. Having such great people in my life is truly a blessing from god and on top of it all I get to share this journey with my son who has also grown to love the art. In the end the only thing that will matter is the memories made and the positive impact you had on the lives around you. by @michael_tengan

Couple years ago I had no solid plans and had to move quick on my feet to make things happen with opening a gym. Being a business / gym owner is no easy task and many sacrifices had to be made but having a great support system backing me we were able build from a little office space to where we are today. Just last month marked our 2 year anniversary and we were finally able to celebrate this past weekend! We have been so busy that time has flown by but what we continue to build from growing the students and bonds made along the way makes me so happy! I love my team and appreciate all of the support from our kaizen Ohana :) #continousimprovement by @michael_tengan

Some of my best friendships are made through Jiu-Jitsu but over a decade ago who would have thought that we would all be standing on the same mat as black belts! Appreciate you guys for stopping by @maggiegrindattilira @lirabjj and dropping some knowledge! so stoked with the new techniques and can’t wait to drill them! Enjoy the rest of your stay, until we meet again, Aloha🤙🏾 by @michael_tengan
