DEAR KINDRED SOUL 💌✨

This is the book of my heart. Every author has one, and I feel immensely grateful that mine will be my debut novel. This story and these characters completely captured me and wouldn’t let go. I’m so excited for readers to meet Sylvia and Dalton, The Kindred Soul mailbox, the small lakeside mountain town of Aurora, and all my other beloved characters that fill this world (ps. two of them will lead my second book!)

Okay now for the dress rehearsal of my acknowledgments haha! (& yes buckle up, it’s longgg… I’m full of gratitude 🥹)…

There are so many people to thank, but I have to start with @tanera.simons, who pulled DKS out of her slush pile and loved the story like I did—you changed my life! Thank you to @laura.heathfield who was integral in editing and my submission journey—you helped make this book everything I wanted it to be and more. Thanks to @franklyffreya as well—your editing insights and constant support have been invaluable.

Thank you to my wonderful editor, Rebecca, and team at @bedfordsq.publishers who have made my dreams come true. I was hoping to find a publisher who understood the heart of the story and the tenderness it needed, and I’m so grateful to be working with y’all!

@kelleylmcneil, I’m so lucky to have worked with you early on with this book. I learned so much from you and I don’t think I’d be where I am right now without your early guidance!

To countless writing friends on this journey with me, I love traveling with you 🤍 @mabelhallerauthor @saoirse_morrigan @authoradelaidejames @byjenniferrios @taryn.christeen @rebekkahwrites @anna.metz.writes @abbydewsnup @authorsydneyapplegate & so many more!

Ahh this was the very first line I wrote for Dear Kindred Soul. The very first seed of the idea. It’s so hard to believe that on a random day in July over two years ago, I opened my notes app, typed this out, and changed the course of my life! 🥹💌

Stay tuned for more news 👀
