this song has been on repeat for me today. i woke up this morning feeling heavy and so i walked into the living room where Sebs was with Asaph. i sat on the couch next to them and let him hold me. i needed it. Sebs knew i was feeling a lot - we’d been talking about it…this new season - the balance to being postpartum, having a third baby, becoming a sahm & him taking on more things to practically make up my income, our busy busy busy schedule - not wanting to be consumed by all of it. i remember when he came home and told me about the third verse of this song - that day i was still pregnant, working full-time, overwhelmed by those (and so many other) things - i felt like we couldn’t catch our breath. i remember crying so much that same morning & asking him, “why does everything have to be so hard? why can’t it ever just be easy?” and his response was to pull me in, hold me, & tell me that we were gonna get through it. & we did. and i know we always will. because for everything there is a time & season - a time to weep & a time to laugh, a time to mourn & a time dance. so we LEAAAAAAAAN IN…as far as we can…to each other, to Jesus, & to His voice. there is so much comfort that i have only found by doing that. and i’m so so so so thankful. love you @sebas.space - leaning in forever and ever by @michaela.space
my little big fella turned 4 a few days ago. i love him so much. crying while listening to this song and looking at these pictures. asaph, you are the most special boy in the world. you are hilarious, smart, kind, gentle, wild, and love everyone so deeply. i’m so proud of you. your teacher said that people know when you walk into the room & that the atmosphere shifts in the best way - it’s so true. i know the days of loving excavators, waking up early for the garbage truck, being friends with the mailman, calling me “baby” because it’s what your dad calls me, and screaming “life is a highway” at the top of your lungs won’t last forever - but it’s what you do right now and i never want to forget it. i love you buddy. ❤️ by @michaela.space
happy father’s day to @sebas.space you are the BEST dad to our boys and our little girl - there is no one like you. these are just a few of my favorite moments of you being a dad - but truly, a billion pictures & videos could never capture the kind of father you are. we love you forever & ever & ever ❤️ by @michaela.space
three weeks with three kids. sebs was home with us every minute and we really needed it - us as a family, the boys & him, and me & him. i wish he could stay forever. time moves too fast - even when we slow down. life keeps going and we are forced into a new reality whether we’re ready or not. and most of the time we don’t feel ready but Jesus is kind and present. it’s beautiful and hard and different and good. all the things. my heart is tender. i’m so thankful and have also cried a lot. i love my little family. i love my two boys and my GIRL. i love my sebastian. i love our life. by @michaela.space

today was my last day after 4.5 years with @korinahernandez_ & State Farm 🥺 i genuinely don’t even have the words for what this place — and especially these people — mean to me. Jesus led me here. He met me here. He changed me here. and i got to watch Him move in so many other people’s lives too. i used to always say “this is temporary” but i’m so thankful the Lord kept me here longer than i planned. somewhere along the way this became so much more than a job. i found lifelong friendships here. family here. & korina… i love you so much. thank you for believing in me, loving me, praying for me, fighting for me, and helping shape me into who i am today. you have changed my life forever in more ways than you know. words will always fall short. can’t believe you’ve watch my little family grow from just me and @sebas.space to now three kids. i’m so so so so so thankful. leaving is so bittersweet, but getting to step into being a mom of three is such a gift and i’m really grateful for that too ❣️ 4.5 years of memories i’ll carry with me forever. i’m so emotional. by @michaela.space
