It all started when I got the phone call after your first check ride that you got a pink sheet for spitting a zyn on the flight line.

today, you earned your wings!!

how inspiring it was to watch all the hard work and dedication for the last year and a half to make sure you’d finish on top, and you gave everything you had to get here. It was truly a privilege to be by your side for the endless flash cards, the daily Milly walks while listening to you recite flight material and maneuvers, and all the phone calls after you nailed every test/sim/flight. but my favorite was being your escape from it all, even if it meant only a few minutes together or a quick FaceTime call. i’m so incredibly proud of you.
you did it. you deserved to see this day.

through every high and every low, these people changed my life in ways i’ll carry with me forever. i’ll always be grateful for this chapter and every soul in these photos.

thank you for showing me a love that was safe, soft, and patient. you were the best dog dad to tato (milly). i don’t know who loved who more, you or milly, but watching the two of you together was one of my favorite things. but i know you’re up there watching over us and rage baiting me from afar. i don’t know why God called you home so soon, but I hope you’re surrounded by peace, the ocean, and endless zyns.
