Excited is my first name... FOR today I can finally announce the full, official, delicious release of my latest single called "Ocean Blue". Featuring the amazing Kayrae on vocals - someone who I have had the utmost pleasure of working with for a couple of years now <3 It is such a pleasure to FINALLY have this one out worldwide on Bemind Recordings, label behind the legendary DIM3NSION. "Ocean Blue" is a melancholic love song wrapped in ocean metaphors. It’s about losing your footing in a relationship - watching something once solid become fluid and uncertain. There’s beauty in the surrender, but also fear in how easily love can pull you under. It’s not a clean heartbreak; it’s a slow flood, where you're aware it's happening… but you let it happen anyway. To coincide with the release, I've got a brand new 4K special edition of my monthly show called "Through My Ears" - which features 1.5 hours of my favourite new music, alongside Ocean Blue itself (of course!). Hey fam! It gives me great pleasure to finally announce my next single with Future Sound of Egypt Argento - out now on Spotify, Beatport and other stores - this is Cloudburst. Cloudburst has been a true labour of love for me. In fact, I would describe it as the track I have enjoyed writing more than any other. I put more than 120 hours into the project. And it has been through several different evolutions - including starting out as a vocal track, where I was able to put some pretty cool AI technology to the test. I finally finished the track on my recent holiday to the UK and Europe, and I was so stoked that Dan Stone at Future Sound of Egypt was so enthusiastic to pick it up! This is a huge milestone for me and my alias Michael Alan, as it marks my first solo release on an international label under my own name. And... It gives me an enormous sense of pride to be aligned with a label that I have followed so closely for so long. I'm truly so excited for you all to hear it. And I just, again, want to say thank you to everybody who has shown their support to me over the journey. I've been doing this for a very long time now. Having your support and being connected with you really means so much. In fact, I think it brings true meaning to all of the blood, sweat and tears.
