I’ve had my first difficult facial client last night and it was my own son 😂😅 he has finally asked me for his first facial and I told him once he left basketball practice after he took his bath he could get one before he went to bed . Chileeeee , I should’ve thought that through 😅 . I asked him did he want the full experience he said yes ! So, I started the steamer, he’s like, “naw ma cut that off” (I didn’t have the o’zone on && it wasn’t open all the way either) . So I get started with the facial , every product I used he wanted to know, “what it was”, “what did it do to the face”, “why he got to have the light in his face”, he just went on and on 😂😅. In the middle of the facial, he decides he wants to turn the steamer back on 🤦🏽‍♀️ ! We get towards the end, he’s like, “that was too fast, you missed some steps” (mind you I didn’t do every step because I didn’t use all the products on him as I would for an adult/teen 🤣) he also told me, “I’m going to get a facial every other night” (you barely want to get in the tub 😂) but he has definitely taught me that no client will give you the same experience ! Whewww , he had my head hurting 😂😅

•NO HARSH PRODUCTS WERE USED (kid friendly)
•Facials are safe, suitable, and fun for kids
•I’ve ordered some 100% organic facial products for kids
•I only used a cleanser, toner, moisturizer, and massage cream when doing his facial

Kids “Basic” Facial is now added to my booking site 😊 Start self care off early 🤍💚🖤 by @michaelas_essentials

Here’s a step by step basic skincare routine for beginners that you can do in the morning and at night !

1. Cleanser (removes dirt, impurities and excess oils from the skin)
2. Toner (balances ph levels, cleans pores and hydrates the skin)
3. Serum (improves skin’s elasticity, fights aging and helps with hyperpigmentation)
4. Moisturizer (reduces dryness, reduces fine lines and smoothes the skin)
5. Sunscreen (lowers risk of skin cancer, keeps complexion even and enhances skin health)

If you would like a more in depth facial and you’re focusing on specific skin issues or areas of the skin you can add extra steps to your routine….

•Pre-cleanser (done before the cleanser for a double cleanse)
•Exfoliating scrub (removes dead skin cells, stimulates collagen and unclogs pores/make sure your scrub isn’t too harsh on the skin)
•Mask (whatever mask you prefer)
•Eye cream (reduces puffiness, dark circles and fine lines/apply when you do your night time routine)

Find products that are suitable for your skin type and that focus on the specific areas you’re aiming for. Be sure to do some research before purchasing any products. 🖤💚🤍😊 by @michaelas_essentials
