Had so much fun at @scbwiaustintx conference yesterday!!! A few highlights included meeting my mentee @annamarielindsey, moderating the first panel of the day with amazing picture book authors, meeting editor @vnssaguirre, and of course meeting authors and illustrators striving for their dream!

And thank you to @annaalsupbooks for putting all this together, creating an amazing day, and inviting me to be part of @scbwiaustintx conference!

Thank you to all those who bought my book and let me sign it too! @nafaris a special thank you for approaching me and letting me know your daughter loves my books! The best highlight any author could ask for! by @michaelbennerwrites

Last month at the book launch for Mac & Cheese: The Origin Story, there were so many people that we didn’t have quite enough books for everyone. ☹️

Yesterday, @bookpeople invited me to sign a table full of books, so now they plenty of books for anyone who wants one!! 😁🎉

If you’re interested in a punny, funny story about how the most famous food duo in history became BFFs, head out to BookPeople. Chances are you’ll find lots of other books you like there, too!

A big thanks to @shirleywaisman and @niyati.froind for having me, @annkoffsky, and @michaelbennerwrites for our presentation “Finding the Funny.” An audience of 90+ on four continents—the wonders of Zoom! We hope our presentation helped other picture book writers and illustrators add humor to their stories. by @michaelbennerwrites

Congratulations to my friend and mentor @teachsolis on the release of his first book of poetry, THE POETRY OF POO: AND OTHER FAIRLY GROSS THINGS NO ONE EVER SEEMS TO WRITE POETEY ABOUT!

Poetry about poo and boogers, lice and dogs peeing on trees... Oh, did I mention zombies! It has it all and is LOL funny! I guarantee you’ll never read a book like this again!
