Westlake High School Homecoming 2026 😂

Apparently some kids thought rolling our house was going to be an easy little homecoming mission…

Negative.

I had the house looking like Fort Polk.

Motion-sensor sprinkler system strategically placed in the yard, gel blasters locked and loaded, a party bus filled with allies sitting waiting to get y’all, and a T-shirt cannon ready to make a BOOM loud enough to make everybody question their choices of trying to get us.

The funniest part was watching cars stack up all the way down the road while everybody tried to build up enough courage to make a run at the house.

The HARDEST part of the entire operation was my son convincing me to let the first group roll the yard for about 4 minutes so everybody else sitting down the road would think it was safe.

We basically had to sacrifice a few rolls of toilet paper as bait.

Once enough people got brave and started coming down… we went into defense mode.

Homecoming memories were definitely made, and all kids were extremely respectful.

If you’re gonna roll our house, just understand… we’ve been preparing for this moment just like Kevin on Home Alone did.

Lake Charles family,

Just wanted to keep yall in the loop. We are still hard at work finalizing plans with Historic Parks and Preservation for our Five Iron Golf location downtown in the old Blue Dog Café building.

Jason and I are proud to bring our first franchise to Lake Charles, and we have also purchased the rights to expand Five Iron Golf across the entire state of Louisiana. It all starts right here at home.

Our goal is to respect and preserve the historic character of that building while adding our own touch and bringing next level entertainment to the heart of downtown Lake Charles.

Five Iron Golf is a popular indoor eatertainment venue that combines high tech golf simulators with a full service restaurant and bar. We will also have duck pin bowling and tons of entertainment for all ages.

Our simulators are not just for golf. You will be able to play multiple sports including soccer, baseball, football, dodgeball and more, making it a place for everyone to enjoy, whether you golf or not.

We will be a licensed Callaway dealer and offer professional club fitting. We will have golf pros on staff to train and help you level up your game.

We have been working closely with structural engineers and preservation teams to make sure everything is done the right way. The process takes time, but it matters to us to honor the history of that space while creating something special for the community.

We are very close to finalizing the plan, and once approvals are complete, we will be hitting construction hard and moving fast.

We appreciate everyone’s patience and support. We have not forgotten about downtown and we have not forgotten about Lake Charles. Big things are coming and we cannot wait to bring this to life for yall.

Thank you for riding with us. See everyone soon!

We are going to show out for the kids of SWLA! Can’t thank everyone enough for the support, the sponsoring, and the volunteers! It takes a village to do something of this nature. This Isn’t even half of what we have for this drive! My back Is broken but my heart Is full!

None of us is as good as all of us!!

Every wall we open at the new Five Iron Golf location seems to uncover another piece of this building’s story.

Our team is carefully peeling back the layers and saving every historical piece we can. From the old knob and tube electrical panels to the beautiful wood hidden inside the walls and the exposed brick, there’s so much character here that deserves to be part of its next chapter.

We still haven’t gotten inside the vault yet, but hopefully soon. Who else is curious about what’s in there?

I have a whole new appreciation for this building seeing what’s been tucked away all these years. A big thank you to our crew for taking the extra time and care to preserve these pieces as we bring this place back to life.

Lake Charles, just wait until you see this come together. This building is going to be breathtaking. by @michaelboyer22

Had a great time at Stine’s grand opening in DeRidder! I was excited to be there with Jeremy Stine and finally get to meet Stalekracker.

I put my name in a raffle, and when Stine texted saying I’d won something, I was pretty pumped. A store full of tools, grills, and equipment… surely I’d hit the jackpot.

Walked in to claim my prize and left with a flower-print insulated cup. My girlfriend was ecstatic. Turns out I entered the raffle for her and just didn’t know it.

All jokes aside, I really want to thank Stine for everything they do for Toys of the Heart. They’ve been there since the beginning, and this year they’ve already donated $1,000 to help us bring Christmas to local children.

When you’re trying to do something good for your community, you never forget the people who showed up early and kept showing up. Stine has been one of those businesses for us, and I’m truly grateful.

Congratulations on the grand opening, and thank you for helping us put smiles on so many kids’ faces. My girlfriend Jaelyn Ryan also sends her thanks for the cup. taken in Stine in DeRidder by @michaelboyer22

Free: 607 Ryan St Lake Charles, La

Please if you can use any of these chairs, chandeliers, or kitchen steamer. Come take them from Old Blue Dog Cafe. Tomorrow we have to get rid of them and I don’t want them to just be thrown away.

Walls and roof should be coming off shortly and we need it out the way. Come around back to grab them. by @michaelboyer22

Coach is asking me to see if I have any friends that want to play in this tournament. Only two teams are left. Let’s fill the last two spots. Prices are on the flyer.

Proud dad moment. Brayden Boyer won 2026 Westlake High School Homecoming Hunk.

Thank you to everyone who donated and supported him. All the money raised went to the Westlake Cheer Team, which makes it even better.

Big thank you to Khloe Toups for representing Brayden and helping make it happen.

Proud of you, Brayden. by @michaelboyer22
