It has been a helluva couple months with the Bullitt, joys of owning an older car. It developed a gas leak where the filler neck meets the gas tank, just after a fillup. After draining the tank, half of the old seal fell into the tank 🤦‍♂️. New fuel filler neck and seal installed.

On the shakedown run after that, I discovered a coolant leak from one of the heater hoses. Which, of course they are, are unique to the Bullitt and havent been produced in 10 years. A little modification of a regular GT hose and was able to get it to work.

On that shakedown run, the speedometer no longer works, the odometer “dashes out” and another Check Engine light. The Vehicle Speed Sensor also failed! 😡.

Replaced that, and now all seems to be right … for now. I was able to take it in today for its smog check…which it passed at 191k miles.
