Happy 16th birthday, Shiloh! Somehow the little girl making silly faces in these pictures is now the young woman leaping across the dance floor. You’ve grown into someone beautiful, thoughtful, and entirely your own.

I love that you can get dressed up for the perfect photo and still be the first one ready to head outside, get your feet muddy, and see where the trail leads. That adventurous little girl is still there, and I hope she always will be.

How do you capture a week’s worth of memories in a handful of pictures?! Life is flying by so fast and time slips through my fingers like sand but I am so grateful for all my blessings. A family who loves each other fiercely, unexpected adventures, a river guide (Brad Mullins) who loves Jesus and helped us see Him in the creation around us, great food and even a gorgeous sunset on our final night. Looking through these pictures today, I’m reminded what an incredible journey your life has been. From that little girl with her whole life ahead of her, to the beautiful woman I fell in love with, to the amazing wife, mom, and best friend you are today.

I’ve watched you face every season with incredible courage, unwavering faith, and a love for our family that never quits. You are one of the strongest people I know, and I couldn’t be more proud to call you my wife.

Thank you for every adventure we’ve shared, every challenge we’ve overcome, and every memory we’ve made. The greatest adventure of my life has simply been getting to do life with you.

Happy 50th, my love. I wouldn’t change a single chapter of our story, and I can’t wait to see what God has in store for the chapters ahead.

It is so hard to believe that on this day 22 years ago I married my best friend. Through every challenge, heartache, celebration and adventure you have been my greatest cheerleader, partner in crime, and are still the love of my life forever. Thank you for loving me so patiently and for always being willing to risk for Jesus! Our girls could not possibly have a better role model for what it means to be a mom, a woman of faith, and a wife. What a week in Vermont with Shiloh. From exploring Fort Ticonderoga, hiking the Hamilton Falls and Lye Brook Falls trails, and taking in the view from the top of Mount Equinox—to lobster rolls, a fancy dinner at Ye Olde Tavern, catching crawfish after dark, and simply driving together through the mountains—every part of this trip felt special.

The places were beautiful and the food was fantastic, but the best part was the time we shared. Whether we were pushing through a tough hike, laughing over a meal, or talking while the miles rolled by, we were making memories I will treasure for a lifetime.

Being your dad is one of the greatest privileges of my life. I know the years move quickly, and opportunities like this become more precious with every passing season. To have this kind of time together—to listen, laugh, explore, and simply enjoy who you are—means more to me than I can put into words.

Shiloh, I am so proud of the young woman you are becoming, and I am incredibly grateful that I get to be your dad.

Epic father daughter date with @hannahbulkley23! Bottomless pickle bowl and the best pastrami and corned beef @reins_deli in Vernon, CT with excellent service from Jacob. Then it was off to Fenway Park for amazing @mumfordandsons concert. Incredible memories were made! by @michaelbulkley
