Witness history at least once in your life.
And whenever you get the chance—ALWAYS meet your heroes.
This tripwas about witnessing greatness in the making. Traveling to the iconic Olympic grounds of Lake Placid and Whiteface Mountain wasn’t just a weekend trip—it was a pilgrimage.
We watched 19-year-old American sensation Asa Vermette throw down and secure the UCI Downhill World Cup overall title. It’s been seven long years since an American stood at the top of the overall standings, not since Aaron Gwin in 2017. To follow Asa’s journey from the very beginning and watch him claim his place in history on home soil was nothing short of surreal.
The raw energy, the absolute precision on the mountain, the history written right in front of us... but the best part of it all?
I got to stand on that finish line and take it all in with my son.
Moments fade, but memories like this last forever. 🇺🇸🚵‍♂️💥 by @michaelcuddihee

I may not agree with what you have to say, but I will defend your right to say it. What a terrible day for America. Love is the only way forward. Together we are stronger. by @michaelcuddihee
