I met David Byrne on Friday. What a weekend. Played bass for Adam Buxton and @ivo_graham who then took us to meet the great man after his set at Latitude. Such a nice fella - he said he’d heard of @stop_making_sense_live and isn’t going to sue us!
Also met my favourite member of the Who Is The Sky show Sean who is a very good lad. Thank you so much Ivo and pals, it won’t get any better than that. taken in Latitude Festival by @michaeldclapham

Slippery People, the sensational Talking Heads tribute, recreated the legendary Stop Making Sense in explosive fashion at the Electric Ballroom — an amazing performance packed with highlights, including “Girlfriend Is Better.” Duncan Wallis of Dutch Uncles was absolutely fabulous stepping into the David Byrne ‘big suit’! #SlipperyPeople #StopMakingSense #GirlftiendIsBetter #TalkingHeads #ElectricBallroom livemusic @TakingHeads @DavidByrne @TinaWeymouth @ChrisFrantz @JerryHarrison @JonathanDemme @DuncanWallis @DutchUncles taken in Electric Ballroom by @michaeldclapham

Just back from LA. Highlights were talking to Bob Odenkirk about The Royle Family for 20 mins, meeting Eric Idle, seeing Found Footage Festival, The United Theatre, very ill-advised techno club, some half decent comedy shows, electric bikes and knocking about with the boys from Singular. And Venice Beach. taken in Los Angeles, California by @michaeldclapham

Exactly a year ago this week I was in a London hospital listening to podcasts as my eyes wouldn’t open. So last night playing Stop Making Sense Live was a real big treat and the biggest buzz of my life.
Unbelievable crowd, amazing musicians, very emotional dad, an incredibly patient helpful girlfriend @nicolapalin and hopefully we’ll do many more taken in Gorilla by @michaeldclapham

Last week I did my first show at @thecooplive and had my first sell out at @theo2london with the phenomenal Shane Gillis. Amazing co-promoters, agent, production people and venues who gave some very nice presents. Noel Gallagher and Beckham children backstage. Catering was banging too. taken in O2 Arena London by @michaeldclapham
