For a season what if you moves your hair to the center position in your life. Doing this can allow you to level up your hair according to your lifestyle now and the one you want to have. For a season you put your hair in the top priority bucket. You get very real about where you are and very intentional about where you want to go. I help with that. For a long time blowouts was my single vessel to support your hair journey. This year I’ve been upgrading my skills package by adding color and now moving into haircuts and soon extensions. Through this platform I’ve taken you through some of that evolution. The goal being to show my dedication to learning new skills. I talk a lot about the reps. Over and over. I got good at blowouts doing them over and over. I’m working color now over and over. Cuts over and over. Just because I’m the blowout king doesn’t mean I get to skip the line of learning. There is no free lunch. It is not a low maintenance journey. It is very high maintenance.

If my story resonates with you then you might realize your hair for what you want her to be requires higher maintenance and that’s just what it is. She requires more time and energy and focus. The era of low maintenance is a tricky one. It tells you it is ok to do less even though your hair and more important you require more!

It doesn’t have to be overwhelming because me and the team I work with can help you build plans and strategies to support you. We can’t do that through IG. It requires you to come in and that should be ok. Make that ok. We’ve made sure that the vibe is curated for you.

Do this for a season. Here are some slides and stories that have played a part in what I’m saying. by @michaelfking

Known for what I do with blowouts…but also my tech abilities and creating a sturdy digital presence. It’s one thing knowing how to whip that round brush and precision blow drying, but my task early in my journey is how to position those skills in an evolving digital world. Add on top of that I chose an independent solo mission so I couldn’t lean on established salons to help create that presence. Also, I came into the game with the mindset to build something that no one could ever take from me and no one could limit how I built it. With that I had to learn web design. I had to learn SEO. I had to learn different social media outlets. I had to learn how to make the updates and upgrades as the years passed by. As the tools become more advanced I spend time advancing along with them. I had to learn the discipline to stay with the mission while the growth process happened. When I started there was no DoorDash. Now when you come for a blowout and want a coffee delivered you can search The Blowout King and I pop right up. You put in The Blowout King in UberEats and I pop up. Whatever hotel you are staying at when you visit the city and you need a Uber or Lyft to your blowout you can put in The Blowout King and it will bring you right to me. I stayed with the mission long enough that ChatGpT and Claude and other AI 🤖 have The Blowout King as part of the language model.

A big part of what I can do with hair is because of what I can do with tech and how I marry both worlds together.

In case you thought I was only blowouts, I’m not. If you thought the only thing I can offer you is some curls, it’s not. If you thought I was an alternative to blow dry bar, I am….BUT IM SO MUCH MORE AND I CAN DO A LOT!!

Your only task is if this resonates with you is to come see me with open mind, open heart, a little bit of whimsy and excitement to go on a hair journey that is life changing!

This appointment was extra fun because it turned into a little team effort, which is honestly one of my favorite things about Levato Lofts!

I took care of the highlights and installed one weft, Jordan jumped in to install the second, and Michael finished everything off with the prettiest blowout.

One of the things I love most about our salon is that we all genuinely enjoy working together. We’re always jumping in to help each other out, sharing ideas, and cheering each other on.
At the end of the day, we all just want our clients leaving feeling their absolute best.

And THIS final result? I think we understood the assignment. 😉✨

For the final project at Kevin Murphy Session Salon Stylist training we had to create a concept and design a hairstyle around that concept. I submitted this montage video as my mood board from a Photoshoot concept I created almost a decade ago.

This story helped me complete Session Salon training giving me more tools to support the clientele that I work with. If you are ready for a new story in your hair journey come see me and we and build a story for you! by @michaelfking

Blowouts, color, fine arts, flowers, boats, class, towels, models, tech, quad espressos, fashion forward hair care, street affirmations…

All of the seasonings of TBK by @michaelfking

Building the bridge of being known for blowouts to being known for color. Partial Highlight followed Gloss and Blowout and Styling.

I got good at blowouts by doing rep after rep. I’m doing the same with color. Accepting new color clients and always accepting clients for blowouts.
