You wouldn’t believe what it took to make this campaign happen and I’m so grateful to the people who made it possible. ⁣   ⁣   @luciodallag, @crush56, @eriktroedsson, @hantice, @mcundarib, @johnvt, @katarinaurban, @thomasrjullien.me, @moe_the_funker, @izas_eyes⁣   ⁣   There are so many people, apologies if I didn’t tag you. There were hundreds of crew members around the globe working nonstop to make it a reality. These are the folks who pushed through and made it happen ⁣   ⁣   We shot in four countries and six cities. The first four shoots alone happened in 48 hours between three countries. The coordination between all of our sets, agencies, and production companies was something to behold. We shot all players separately due to their training schedules. ⁣   ⁣   Each frame of the final :60 spot has an unreal amount of easter eggs. Each were concepted, revised, legally checked, unarchived, and run through FIFA, teams, and players for approval. ⁣   ⁣   Swipe right to watch the final spot. ⁣👉   ⁣   If you blink, you’ll miss most of the Easter eggs (I won’t remember all of them): ⁣   ⁣   :02 seconds behind Jude Bellingham:⁣   ⁣   Photo of 5 Messis, foreshadowing the Impossible Rondo ad ⁣   ⁣   Pogba kissing the WC trophy ⁣   ⁣   Old World Cup stickers and ads ⁣   ⁣   :08 – magnets & images of older adi players ⁣   ⁣   :13 – Indigo Herz, adidas’ Bored Ape⁣   ⁣   :19 – Messi playing with foosball with the official World Cup ball and all football players are Messi ⁣   ⁣   :20 – All 5 Messis again behind 2006 Messi ⁣   ⁣   :21 – Golden boots and Al Rihla ball in glass boxes ⁣   ⁣   :27 – Above Sonny’s shoulder are ball design schematics ⁣   ⁣   :35 – Old match jerseys behind Gnabry ⁣   ⁣   Song – Live is Life for its connection w/football culture. ⁣   ⁣   This spot will air globally over the next month.   ⁣   Featuring: @leomessi (x2), @karimbenzema, @pedri, @judebellingham, @sergegnabry, @hm_son7, @stormzy    Thank you all for making my last campaign @adidas special. ⁣ taken in Adidas by @michaelhallhere

Last Sunday we had the opportunity to air our Beyonce commercial during the Oscars. ⁣ ⁣ It’s one of 20 individual global spots we created for the current adidas global brand campaign. A good portion of them are running on TV in at least one market somewhere in the world. This was all done with tight timeframes, and a tough work from home COVID situation⁣ ⁣ I want to give a huge shout out to the team who helped bring the Impossible is Nothing campaign to life. ⁣ ⁣ This was an incredible effort by adidas production, adidas comms, music, Business Affairs, translations, and our agency partners at @thinksockeye.⁣ ⁣ I want to thank you all for shaping this campaign. My gratitude extends to the writers, editors, coordinators, and assistants who all sacrificed to make this happen.⁣ ⁣ In total we researched, licensed, negotiated, and cleared over 700 clips. There were hundreds more that were in the edits at one point that did not make the final cut. We sourced content through sports leagues, TV stations, and previous adidas campaigns. This was an incredibly difficult process done within incredibly tight timelines. ⁣ ⁣ The work is all live and will roll out to other platforms in the coming weeks. There are so many people that made these films happen, but I want to make sure each of these producers have the recognition they deserve.
