Being Honduran-American is the part of my identity that I am most proud of. I will continue to give my life to my country and my roots until my last breath, and I pray my work and spirit serves 100 generations after me. The 500 year plan.

Damn.
What an awesome day spreading some love at @crimedrought , a community led initiative to end crime and violence. Shoutout to healthyhoodchi and @bluedoorneighborhood center doing the real work <3

Some moments with @rosalbavaldez_ y Los Valientes, spreading love and joy - the antidote to hate and violence.

Lately, it's all been personal to me. The veil continues to lift. I recently visited the site where my brother passed away for the first time in Minnesota. For those who don't know, my older brother died to gun violence; he was 20. The gunman, 24. A lot of young people go too soon because somebody's got a gun. Violence impacts people all around the world, as you can all see and feel, all the time. I keep searching for clarity, for answers, and for healing in the music. The world of God is not logical or confined by the human experience. We exist in a realm of infinite variables, making every blessing we have that much more amazing.

I was driving to work today and at a stoplight, someone experiencing homelessness came up to my window and reminded me; "Hey! You woke up today! God Bless You. Have a great day." No amount of caffeine could give me the same newfound energy. No rehab could sober me quicker.

I am blessed. God is good, all the time. Life isn't perfect, but its grand. It's an opportunity to add value to the world, and lift up those around us.

Music, for me, has always been a means for the soul to process what cannot be processed. To express what cannot be expressed. For a moment, time is decorated, and our hearts are free to roam again.

The service continues.

MADNESS!!!!!!!!
Thank you thank you thank you to all who came out to the 4th Madness Event. Per usual, pushing the sonic boundaries with transitions, ambience, multi-instruments, and of course, all original music, my commitment to YOU. The most jarring madness event yet. Eventually, I seek to play a seamless 90-120 minute set, no pause. Just Madness. BLUES/FUNK/RAP/SOUL/AFRO-CARIBE/JAZZ/PUNK/DISCO/BALLAD. Thanks you to @kabirdrums and @dajuiceisluce for holding it DOWN and bringing so much grace and groove to this music.

1st time I used Logic to run Live Loops and midi synths. Running around on stage to make everything work is highly suitable. GRATEFUL TO GOD 🙏🏽❤️

THANK YOU @enifyako FOR incredible sound - I loved hearing my voice this time!!

Shoutout to @lemon_chicago crew.

UNTIL NEXT TIME
