I just lost $7,000,000. 😱 💵

Here’s what happened…
I closed the deal, received a signed and accepted offer from the purchasers and vendor. But the buyer had a $900,000 GT3RS. The problem? The driveway. The next day, for over 3.5 hours I tried everything — ramps, reversing, even a trip to Bunnings where I personally shopped with him/for him for a solution. No matter what I did, the car wouldn’t make it work.

In the end, the vendors weren’t appreciative of my efforts. They blamed me for the sale falling through, not the design of the driveway.

But was I upset? No.

Okay, yes i was 😅

But I knew one thing — I gave it everything, and I played my part.

And the truth is, sometimes in real estate (and in life), you can do everything right and still lose the deal. But that doesn’t mean I lost. Because I learnt lessons to take on board for the future.

Everything that happens is meant to be and it was a privilege to have a $7,000,000 listing in the first place

Just a week and a half later. I not only listed a $5 million property — I sold it within a week, off market. That one brought in $100,000 in commission… to a very appreciative vendor and the buyer came from this lost listing.
