What now? This has been an absolutely magical 39 days. It started at a Mexican restaurant next to a bowling alley in Richmond, Virginia, and eventually followed me home. From bar tops, to backyards, and city streets filled with sound and color. It was a much needed light amongst the geopolitical darkness many of us have felt.

Are things perfect, or even fixed? Of course not. But sharing a hug with a Belgian fan dancing to street music can’t hurt.

I remember the 90’s when I couldn’t even get my closest friends to play the sport with me. hell, I was called slurs for even liking it, and felt ashamed until I went to college. I didn’t think I’d see a day, let alone a month like this in the U.S.
