Back to school! Officially have a K and 2nd grader and both now in school together.

For me, the highlight of the summer was them really becoming best friends. They play a lot more together now. Wrestle more. Fight more. Cuddle more. Read to each other.

My little turtle turned FIVE on the 18th! 🐢💜 Solomon, I’m so incredibly proud of you. You are our little life of the party, our sweet and sensitive soul, and our shining star. You bring so much joy, laughter, and love into our lives. Watching you grow into the amazing little boy you are is one of my greatest joys. We love you more than words could ever say. My baby is 5. No idea where the time went, but here we are and it’s been the best experience of my life sitting front row.

Shy at times, but a ball of fire. A mega watt smile that lights up the room. Sensitive as they come, but also as tough as nails. Fearless. Loving. Irrational. Thoughtful. Artistic.

As absolute crazy and loving as they come.

20 years ago today I met @atsolomon (and @nadiah_beleza for that matter!) in @princess.purnell apartment for the very first time.

13 years later to the day we had a private wedding in Boston.

20 years felt like it went by so fast, and it’s hard to articulate how proud I am of our marriage, our family, and the world we’ve fought to build together.

We loved each other with nothing, and with no expectations from each other, and as a result- I’ve always felt like we’ve had everything. I’ve been the luckiest man on earth since August 3rd,2006.

I need nothing else.

LinkedIn, Instagram, etc. it’s all a lie- your family, your relationship with your spouse and children: that’s your life’s work, that in good form is true wealth.

My only hope for my own children is they don’t fall into the marketing trap of what a perfect life looks like- and they fall in love with someone to do the hard work with.

Here is to 20 more life times together @atsolomon. The years matter less to me now- I want all your lifetimes ahead. by @michaelperry

A small shoutout to @sealabcore , as my partner in crime for 20 years.

Certainly has had its ups and downs but we’ve done a lot together:
-4 companies started
-10m+ raised
-2 companies sold
-hundreds of products built
-products used by millions of people
- 6 companies worked at together if you include Shopify and now Wander.

After 5+ years of building Maple Family App I am excited to share that the company has been acquired by Wander.

It has been an honor of my lifetime building Maple.

A huge thank you to the team members who have helped along the way, the ones who fought for our mission “from beginning until the end”, and the families who trusted us with our product.

Equally, a huge thank you to our world class investment group, advisors and mentors.

Joining Wander is a wild opportunity- our team has been together for decades now, and bring all our experience from building at Shopify together and now all the consumer knowledge we acquired from building at Maple Family App together gives us a once in a lifetime opportunity to push Wander to “Shopify heights”.

I was Wanders 1st guest in Tahoe, and now excited to be a part of the team that’s going to make the world accessible to everyone.

A big thank you to John Andrew Entwistle , Sahil Mansuri, Kyle Tibbitts and the Wander team for trusting us to be a part of something special.
