In every leaf, there's a whisper of autumn's magic. This time of year reminds us that change can be beautiful.

Art Note: Someone on another platform commented that their 5 year old could paint that. I replied…Magnificent! You should be proud of your children and their talents! by @michaelpruden.art

Greetings from the Spaceship Enthusiasm…

Here at my studio in the woods, the trees are still emerald green with a few sparse specks of autumn colors. This is a time of soft transitions and subtle transformations. This is a beautiful time for all of us in our own journey of transformation. Nature reminds us, there is an art in letting go.

Art Note: I’m doing these in an hour using large house painting brushes. It is an adventure in going beyond preconceived notions of what landscape painting should be. Quickly painted canvases to capture this moment in nature from one joy to the next.

Love to everyone…always in all ways. by @michaelpruden.art

Cherry Bliss, Planet Claire

5ft x 5ft Oil on canvas

A lifetime of painting with all the struggles, countless hours and years of work. Devoted learning, honing my skills, realism to the point of photo perfectionism, and I leave it all behind to paint like I’m a child again. That playful joy of freedom can only be expressed by painting from the heart not the mind.

I no longer care what anyone thinks of it, including myself. That surrender creates a beautiful moment.

The definition of absolute beauty in art is…when the person looking at the painting disappears. For in that moment nothing else exists.

Chasing Bliss

If you travel
You’ll never reach
this place

Only when you stop
And look around you
It was always there

It never arrives
In a thunderous roar

Only in a softly spoken
Moment of love

Planet Claire Oil on canvas / 6ft x 5ft

The other day I was playing Planet Claire by the B52’s on guitar. Surf driven lead guitar. I stopped and mixed some red and white paint together, and this came out. Inspiration comes in the blink of an eye. If you go after it you create something that was never there before. If you don’t, it will never exist.

She came from Planet Claire
I knew she came from there
She drove a Plymouth Satellite
A-faster than the speed of light
Planet Claire has pink air
All the trees are red
No one ever dies there
No one has a head
Some say she's from Mars
Or one of the seven stars that shine after three-thirty in the morning
Well, she isn't!
She came from Planet Claire

Promise

Within our nature
The source will arise

Within our spirit
We are the dawn

Awakening a voice
With fragile strength

A voice that will hold
Undressing doubt

Caressing our truth
We know the

Make a promise to yourself…to see things in a new light, to feel everything deeply within your heart, to express love in every possible way, and most of all to believe in yourself and know that love will always find a way.

Tenderness

Flowing like a river
When your heart
Is alive

Sweet caresses
Of elegant grace

Moments of surrender
Waiting to be felt

Capable of love
In every way

Lingering joy
Without restraint

Essence

The essence of eternity
That beautiful moment
Arising in love

Softly awakened
From the lovely longing

What if we exist to become love?

The center of all centers
Arising from your heart
The circle of eternities

Essence

Essence / From the Temple Series / 5ft x 7ft oil on canvas

Art Notes: I find myself painting simply. Like a river moving around the stones. There is no need for excessive gestures or extravagance. Leaving behind the overt realism that dazzles others but lacks soul for myself. I’m finding my own language. Basic shapes, flat color, open areas. Painting lines by hand without measures, tape or precision. A computer can make perfect lines but I choose my human touch even when it falters. The shape of the temples are the temples of the flesh and how we step into what matters the most…love. by @michaelpruden.art

Sometimes we need

To know where we
