We welcomed our first child into the world on Thursday, July 23. It was truly the greatest joy of my life to witness and be a part of. My wife is an absolute rockstar, and moms truly are superheroes. THE BEST DAY OF MY LIFE!! 🤍
I am truly the happiest and luckiest girl in the world!
Michael Ryan you are the best thing to ever happen to me, the love of my life, my living prayer, my best friend and my biggest blessing I never deserved but God so graciously gave me. I am so overwhelmed by the Lords faithfulness. Anyone who knows you sees God’s kindness and goodness in everything that you do. You are the most loving human in the world. A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to head out west after a mature Tom Mountain Lion. Unfortunately, my streak of unsuccessful hunts carried into 2025. That said, it was an unforgettable trip—there were chances, just not for the right cat.

Every hunt comes with its own set of challenges, and this one was no exception. I expected it to be tough, but I underestimated just how much of a grind it would be—mentally and physically. Early mornings and steep terrain made for some long days. I wanted something different and demanding, and this hunt delivered on both fronts.

A few thoughts that ran through my mind out there:
• What would Lewis and Clark have given for a snow machine?
• There’s a reason Alpine skiing exists—it’s a much easier way to enjoy the mountains in winter.
• People who can actually ride a snowmobile well are insanely strong and have incredible body control.

All in all, it was an incredible experience, and I’ll definitely be back out there… once I’m in better shape! by @michaelryanherzog
