- Does it benefit you?
- Does the person that reached out even support you and your work?
- Who benefits the most while providing the least value, time and/ or effort?
- Who is taking on most of the risk?
- Is the project worth the time?

I think this is one of the least glamorous parts of trying to make a career out of being creative.

Unfortunately the most important parts of building a business are often times the least enjoyable. Sometimes you just have to accept that doing the things you hate is part of getting to do more of the things you love. by @michaelthor_

// I’ve seen the topic of “copying” come up quite a bit the past couple weeks and every time it’s brought up it pretty much never addresses any of the main issues we see and interact with every time we open up this app.

One of them being just that simple fact that it is widely encouraged to copy what clearly works for other people. The trends, the hooks, the same songs, same editing styles… at some point if people want to see more creativity and/ less copying, people have to be willing to do the actual work (as a community) to find and interact with new things. ✍🏽✍🏽✍🏽 taken in Nashville, Tennessee by @michaelthor_
