my top 5 nightmares (figure skating edition ⛸️):
1. Tripping on your toepick.
2. The public at a public skate.
3. Finding a new bruise I didn’t realize was there. 😅
4. Three Turns. 😬
5. Dodging hockey players on the ice.

all very scary! 🫣

when you’re reading your Bible and stumble upon this chapter right after watching Episode 8 of The Summer I Turned Pretty. 😆 Team Conrad confirmed, I guess??

(Bible is linked in my bio!)

locking in because there’s less than three months until 2027 and I still need to learn crossovers and three turns. 😃⛸️

updated journal tour! 📓 i haven’t done a video like this in forever, so thought I’d show you my current traveler’s journals and all the notebooks I write in. both of these leather journals are from Amazon and all accessories and extra charms are from Hobby Lobby!

sometimes the best thing you can do to get over a mental block is to take a break! i took about a week off from skating and then had the best practice today that I’ve had in a while. working on attempting spirals and slowly learning LTS 4 skills! ⛸️

officially been skating for 6 months! honestly I’ve been feeling a little frustrated with my progress, but I’m also reminding myself that I’ve come pretty far from when I first started and for only skating about twice a week. working on LTS 4 skills and prepping for crossovers, which I’m nervous but excited for!

you’re not too late to pursue the things you feel called to!! time is going to pass either way, and you really only have two choices: you can either choose to let doubt and insecurity stop you from what you want, or you can choose to go after it one step at a time. don’t let your own fears or what people might say prevent you from doing the thing! 💗 you’ve got this!

when you live in Texas where fall weather is nowhere in sight, so you gotta just go with it and pretend. 🍂 (and yes, I will be wearing my Parke sweatshirt and drinking a pumpkin cream cold brew no matter what the temperature says!)
