Two matchmakers walk into a conference... and get to open it.
We are so honored and so grateful to be the opening session at the Matchmakers Alliance conference. It’s called Connect the Connectors, and we’re not telling you everything yet. 😉
We spend our careers bringing other people together. This time, it’s our turn to bring the matchmakers together, And yes, that’s us in the pool.🏊‍♀️ Because at a matchmaker conference, this is where some of the real matchmaking and biz talk happens.
Thank you, Alliance, for letting us kick things off!
A question for everyone: what’s the best conversation you’ve ever had at a conference? We want to hear it. 👇

7 sets of parents are signed up and I am PUMPED! 🎉

Parents of adult kids who are dating are ready to trade backseat driving for a little GPS. There’s still room:

“You’re a nice guy, but...” 😬

That “but” is carrying a whole suitcase. And honestly? Date feedback is my favorite part of the job. I love telling a guy what he’s nailing, and sharing the tiny tweak that changes everything. Sometimes it’s not a renovation, it’s just moving the couch.

I have a feeling about you two. Problem is, he’s in my database... and you’re not. 👀 Fix that at the link in my bio.

My 8 year old just announced that daddy tried to dump me. 😭💔 (He did not. She’s just a comedian in a tiny human suit.)
But it got me thinking: love stories start at the kitchen table. Kids are always watching, always building their blueprint for what love looks like So what happens when those kids grow up and start dating? Parents can go from sideline commentators to the support team.
Mini confession: I had my parents take a “how to be a grandparent” class. So yes, parents can learn new tricks. 😉
I’m hosting a workshop for PARENTS of adult kids who are dating, and I want to hear what actually helps (and what really doesn’t). I have a feeling parents have more creative power here than they realize.

The people who know us best can often see our dating blind spots. Ask what might be getting in your way, what you do well, and look for common themes in their answers.

It takes courage to ask, but the insight might change how you date. ❤️ by @michalmatches

We’ve hosted singles events.
But what happens when you create an experience instead?
As matchmakers, we wanted to create something more intentional than a room full of singles.
A curated guest list. An intimate setting. Real conversation. And two matchmakers paying attention to what was happening in the room.
Here’s what the people who joined us had to say.
