ACTOR - SINGER - TEACHING ARTIST...blah blah blah. Who are we kidding? It’s mostly feminist progressive politics, swarthy men, and pictures of my dog.

POSTS STORIES REELS

This is neither a post for accolades, applause or attention. Merely to show what is possible. Sometimes we need to see it in print before we believe it’s achievable.

Anyone who knows me well knows these two truths to be self evident: I hate exercise in any of its forms. I am about the least athletic/coordinated person in the contiguous 48 states. 2) I LOVE food. No really. Like I’ve never met a carbohydrate or a dairy product I didn’t love.

Changes were necessary. So I put my mind to it and the body followed. Follow your intuition. That woo-woo crap actually works.

FULL DISCLAIMER: In my humble opinion you can be healthy at ANY weight. I was not. You do you.

Also thanks to ChatGPT for creating this whatever we call it. Slide? Good work chatty! by @michalsalonia

I feel like we’re not talking about how smart and sexy fighting fascists is…I have active political crushes on all three of these men. by @michalsalonia

It’s the 6th Ohana Day. The day Stitch joined us and broke every rule and preconceived notion we had about life with a bulldog. BTW Stitch is named Stitch because (aside from the obvious similarity in looks) his namesake says my favorite line in all of Disney. “This is my family. It’s little and broken…but still good. Yeah. Still good.” Love ya little man. 💙 by @michalsalonia

Spent an amazing - albeit far too short - time taking Mom to lunch in New Haven. Miss you already! 💙💙💙 by @michalsalonia

I am about as far from the demographic this book was written for as you can get. Yet it was recommended to me by someone I love and trust so I gave it a read. Hands down one of the best “intro to” books I have ever read. A must read for anyone curious about the Stoic school of philosophy.

Also we’re all going to gloss over the fact that my fat foodie self confused Epictetus with Epicurus. Different schools, both delicious! by @michalsalonia

I never could pass up a good step & repeat! Buckle up folks….the 2026-2027 Girl Scout Season has begun. by @michalsalonia

When I was a little baby liberal I thought I couldn’t be a real feminist. Gloria Steinem was a feminist. She was the real deal. I just agreed with her viewpoints…but I thought men couldn’t be feminists. (It was the 90’s kids…the dark ages) Years later OTHER people have referred to me as a “militant feminist”. It’s a description I will take. And you can bet the hell I’m doubling down on the work that is left to be done. Mourn, grieve, and then go change things. It’s what I think Gloria would have wanted. Thanks for being my North Star for so long. 💙Salonia #feminism #feminist #gloriasteinem by @michalsalonia

Utopia on the UWS was my first NYC greasy spoon diner when I moved here. I loved their burgers but I couldn’t afford to eat there more than once a month. I’m happy to report their food remains as good …if not better… decades later! by @michalsalonia

While going through photos for a project I realized I never posted this fun little shoot with Catalin Stellian (@catalinmedia) from a bit ago. Industry people go see him…it’s a fun laid back vibe and he is just in general an excellent human being with a great eye. by @michalsalonia

We are losing legends left and right here…does the grim reaper have a quota to fill by the end of the month? RIP by @michalsalonia

I jokingly said the other day that you can tell how much I love a book of this nature by how hard I am on it….this one I broke the binding on…twice….and used an entire pen furiously scribbling notes in the margin. by @michalsalonia

Six years ago this little gremlin came into the world. May we all be as loved as Stitch. …yes that is hand crafted wrapping paper by his Auntie Nikki…sick popes get less attention than this bulldog…love you my little bear. 💙Papa. by @michalsalonia
