2 dni po hrebeni Malej Fatry v celej svojej kráse a nevyspytateľnosti. ⛅️ ⛰️

Hore už čakal sneh a neskutočné jasné počasie.

Cycling to another country for lunch? Let’s go!! 🇸🇰🇦🇹

From Bratislava you can easily cycle to Vienna with around 70 km one way. The route follows the Danube cycle path all the way to Vienna, making it a great way to spend the day on the bike.
Great reward can be lunch in Vienna — a proper Wiener Schnitzel. 🥩🍻🇦🇹
The ride back was quite tough because of the sun, almost no shade and a headwind. You can also take the train or ferry back to Bratislava if you don’t feel like cycling both ways.
If you want to do this route, keep a few things in mind: there is basically no shade along the way and there are very few places to get water so make sure you take enough with you. Riding with someone or in a group is much more enjoyable, especially when there is a headwind and you can take turns riding in the slipstream.

Otherwise, it’s a really cool day trip, Vienna is beautiful and cycling between the two cities is a great adventure. 🧡⭐

Sometimes you don’t need much.
A beautiful view, some time for yourself and a place where you can slow down and enjoy the moment.
