What you’re seeing here is a young man I restrained until police arrived. He was filming me from the next dressing room over.

As a woman and a mother, I felt completely violated. I took action because no one else was stepping in.

Nordstrom staff was not helpful in that moment.

I will never understand why any man would choose to invade a woman’s private space — but he chose the wrong woman to violate.

So NOW Instagram is deleting my content. They deleted this post in response to a 2 million post asking about showing the perps face. Not sure if it’s bc of @nordstrom or my perpetrator (bc I’m receiving vulgar threatening messages). But just so everyone knows my video that received almost 2million views a couple months ago is gone. Please share. This fight is not over. This is my statement I read when addressing the court during sentencing. People I know were watching the livestream. The DA thought it was powerful and extremely impactful for the case.

My heart in the matter is of love & grace. My motive is accountability & protection, especially in today’s political climate.

Everyone is suffering in silence with something. It is out of all that undealt pain and brokenness that our actions and words come from. True healing and freedom comes when you are willing to do the work and be honest with God & yourself. Peace can replace all of that internal chaos. I’m living proof!

This is powerful and this organization deserves solid funding. On Friday, Law and Order Action organized a rally at the Colorado State Capitol for victims of crime to share their stories. They must be heard! Colorado continues to put criminals first, not victims.
