Here are 5 cool bee facts 🐝:
1. Bees communicate by dancing. Honeybees use a “waggle dance” to tell other bees where to find good food.
2. A queen can lay thousands of eggs. At peak production, a honeybee queen may lay around 2,000 eggs in one day.
3. Bees can recognize patterns and colors. They can learn visual cues and even distinguish human-face-like patterns.
4. Honey is stored winter food. Bees turn flower nectar into honey and store it so the colony has energy when flowers are scarce.
5. Bees are major pollinators. As they move between flowers collecting nectar and pollen, they transfer pollen and help many plants reproduce. 🐝🌻 by @micheal_wink

Jaxson scored his first Goal in his game last week and earned the "Sportsmanship Award" for his conduct and attitude in the game. For me watching him run down the ball and return it to the other players, coaches or referee was a beautiful thing showing such a genuine heart of service while still feeding his competitive nature once the whistle blows. Being able to flip that switch naturally at a young age is just 🙌 Love watching you do cool things son! And Sissy is of course his biggest cheerleader ✨️ by @micheal_wink

My fears alleviate 🎯 faith it elevates 🙌

Muhammad Ali was on an airplane and refused to wear a seat belt saying "Superman don't need no seat belt" to which the stewardess replied "Superman doesn't need an airplane either"

Yes. In the New Testament, laying down your life is not limited to physically dying for someone. It is also a pattern of daily self-denial—allowing love of God and neighbor to cost you something.

Jesus gives the highest expression of it:

> “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” — John 15:13

And John turns that principle into ordinary Christian practice:

> “He laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.” — 1 John 3:16

Then the very next verse makes it practical: if you see someone in need and have the means to help but close your heart, something is missing. So “laying down your life” can happen in remarkably ordinary moments.

What it can look like daily

Lay down your time. Give someone your attention when you'd rather protect your schedule.

Lay down your convenience. Help when helping actually interrupts you.

Lay down your pride. Apologize first, listen without defending yourself, or accept correction.

Lay down your need to be recognized. Serve someone when nobody will know you did it.

Lay down retaliation. Refuse to repay injury with injury.

Lay down your resources. Feed, give, provide, lend, or sacrifice financially when someone genuinely needs help.

Lay down your preference. Sometimes love means asking, “What would serve them?” rather than “What do I want?”

Lay down your comfort for truth. A friend sometimes needs loving correction rather than comfortable agreement.

Lay down your judgment long enough to understand. Bearing another person's burden requires getting close enough to actually feel its weight.

Lay down yourself before God. Jesus places the deeper principle beneath everything else: “deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me” (Luke 9:23).

There is an important distinction, though: laying down your life does not mean surrendering wisdom, boundaries, truth, or responsibility. Jesus sacrificed Himself for people, but He did not submit to everyone's demands. Christian self-denial isn't self-erasure. It is voluntarily placing what belongs to you—time, strength, comfort, possessions, status, preference—unde by @micheal_wink
