HYPER PORTAL, Milano Fuori Salone 2025, Installazione x @glo_italia for art Project. Via della Moscova 18. I am infinitely grateful to the opportunity that glo™️ @weare2night and @seganfreddo have given me to be able to transform the wonderful courtyard at 18 Via Moscova. A place that architecturally belongs to the past with its imposing columns and that I transformed with a site-specific installation with a surrealist pop aesthetic, merging past and future in a timeless space. All this would not have been possible without my team and especially @valeriobulla for the drramy soundtrack soundtrack inside the installation and @ndrero who helps me every time to transform my two-dimensional world into an interactive installation. 📍 glo™️ Creative Hub, in viale della Moscova 18 #glo #gloitalia #gloforart #fuorisalone #breradesigndistrict #milanodesignweek #mdw2025 #adv by @michelapicchi
NOW FOREVER, Las Vegas, 6th March 2024. Now Forever is a contemporary solipsism of the moment, a psychedelic dream consisting of the belief that “there is only the Now-the present moment”. This video installation has been a vision, a dream and now it is a reality - and for this I I will forever be grateful to Andrea Rocca @ndrero for embracing this journey with me from the very beginning, almost a year ago, in order to bring ‘Now Forever’ to life. Today, just like an endless cycle of present moments, Now Forever re-enter my eyes, as when I first visualised it. Special Thanks to @louisastpierre and @maworldgroup.art for the trust and support of my work, to @efrenmur for your incredible experience and assistance, and to @spherevegas for believing in my vision. #spherevegas #michelapicchi #videoinstallations by @michelapicchi
Playground Love, my first inflatable installation unveiled at @balloon_museum London at the vip party last week . “Large resonating spheres almost entirely occupy the space, immersed in the colours and distinctive graphic research characteristic of Michela Picchi’s production. At the room’s edges, four giant tigers act as benevolent guardians of the space and the spectators’ interaction. The artist intends to bring back the lightness typical of childhood, often associated with the act of play. There is a surprising rediscovery of childlike innocence and awe in the giant dimensions of each present element. “ Photo by Daniel Herendi @neverordinaryview by @michelapicchi
Three years above Rome. In November 2023, Secret Garden found its home in the heart of Rione Monti, just behind the Colosseum. What was meant to be temporary became part of the city for three beautiful years. As this chapter comes to an end, I want to thank the city of Rome and @dobrogram for giving my work such an extraordinary home, and every single person who stopped, looked, took a photograph, shared a moment, or simply passed by. It has been an incredible honour to have my art in one of the most beautiful spots in Rome, a city that has always been part of who I am. Thank you, Rome, for these three unforgettable years. and @art.stop.roma for the opportunity and special thanks to the best painting partners ever @hodirtyb @ricky__ross__ Secret Garden, 2023–2026. Cleveland 2017, where it all began exactly 9 years ago. My first large-scale mural and my first real step into public art. I remember standing in front of this wall knowing exactly where I wanted to go and how deeply public art would resonate with me. Nine years later, many walls, cities, countries later, I still have a special connection with the place where it all started. I am so grateful for the incredible preservation work that continue to this day, keeping this mural alive and part of Cleveland 9 years later. by @michelapicchi
39 🎂 Grateful. Grateful for every risk I took.
For every “no” that redirected me.
For the people who believed in me.
For everyone who became part of my journey.
For my parents, whose love has always been my foundation.
For my best friends, who are my light in my darkest nights. The future is bright. by @michelapicchi
Leaving a permanent artwork in my own city, where I was born and raised, it is something I never take for granted. Proud to unveil Continuum, my new permanent site-specific mural for OPEN – FCO Smart Workplace at Rome Fiumicino Airport.
Conceived as a continuous visual flow, Continuum explores movement, connection and perception through an uninterrupted language that transforms architecture into an immersive experience. A heartfelt thank you to @aeroporti_di_roma for their trust and for making this project possible, and to @alessandro_benetton for the kind invitation and for a thoughtful conversation about art.
Moments like this become quiet reminders to myself that perseverance has meaning. A special thanks to my incredible team, @hodirtyb and @ricky__ross__ , without whom Continuum would not have been possible. 📸 @vitbozpx & @aeroporti_di_roma #Continuum #ContemporaryArt #PublicArt #SiteSpecific #MichelaPicchi by @michelapicchi
Neon @kromosdesign - Infinite Time Eternal Space is Michela Picchi’s new neon work, presented by @camillagrimaldi_galleria on the occasion of Due Opere, an exhibition curated by @gretavoeller . In dialogue with a neon work by Vedovamazzei, Picchi’s work reflects on time and its merging into a boundless, ever-present continuum, capable of transcending every beginning and every end. Due Opere proposes dialogue as a critical and imaginative device: a space in which the works come closer, stimulate one another, and mutually call each other into question. Michela Picchi’s work will be on view in the exhibition starting June 11, at Galleria Camilla Grimaldi, Via dei Tre Orologi 6a, Rome. - Michela Picchi (1987) is an Italian multidisciplinary artist working across installation, sculpture, and digital media. Her immersive environments combine vibrant chromatic systems, surreal imagery, and symbolic forms to explore perception and altered realities, investigating the emotional impact of color, repetition, and spatial transformation. Her work blurs the boundaries between physical and digital space through repetition and chromatic symbolism. Designed by Michela Picchi in Rome in 2026, exclusively for Generali and DVAG. 13 unique collectible Vespa designs. As a Roman artist, born and raised in Rome, and living worldwide, working on one of the city’s most iconic symbols felt incredibly personal. From Roman Holiday to today, the Vespa remains part of Rome’s visual identity and cultural mythology. For this project, I customized 13 iconic Vespas, each with its own visual language, rhythm and personality. We worked for several months to achieve perfection in both the wrapping execution and the final visual effect. Being involved in the production process during my stay in Berlin made the experience and the project even more special. A special thank you to @pocko and Scholz & Friends team for the trust and for having me into such an iconic project ✨ by @michelapicchi
