Splits were spot on. Wanted to cut down to 4:37min/km average over the second half for sub 3:15 but heat and fatigue started to rise, so I made the right choice to stay with 4:40min/km - who can say they paced their first marathon evenly?!

Maxim for the race: choosing to suffer is a privilege (@kim.gottwald wise words)

Accomplishing goals together - definitely not my last marathon. Currently waiting for a spot at @vienna_city_marathon 2027 taken in Klagenfurt Am Wörthersee by @michelermax

Still haven’t comprehended the last flight, and I’m already back in the air—this time chasing aerial shots from a helicopter. 2.5h of pure adrenaline 🏔️

Always expect the unexpected!
Went to work last friday with the intend to hit the gym afterwards. Life had something else in mind. Never would have guessed that I would sit in a Cessna 172 6h later. Even taking over the controls for a second, flying a single-prop plane myself, seeing the beauty of Astria from birds eye. This burned into my head - a memory i won’t ever forget. taken in The Flying Bulls by @michelermax
