Yesterday we said goodbye to our beautiful girl, Lucy.
She crossed over the rainbow bridge and my heart is broken.

Every day I’d come home and head out to do my chicken chores, and Lucy was always my shadow. When I’d sit in the coop doors to quietly watch my flocks, she would put her paws on my shoulders and hug me from behind. Those moments were everything.

Lucy was more than a dog — she was family, comfort, and unconditional love.
