I am so pleased to share that I'm a recipient of the 2026 Individual Artist Fellowship from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts. It is so special that our state, in partnership with @midatlanticarts is able to provide these awards simply to support artists.

I feel grateful to be included among all of the talented artists, including 4 other artists from Lambertville- just wow!

And a big thank you to my moons 🌝 The selection here is what I included for my submission. I spent a year painting the moon phases each day- if you want to know more about the series or even take one home, please visit my website for more information.

THANK YOU to everyone who followed my series painting the moon each day in 2025. I keep calling it a project but I’m starting to feel like that word minimizes what dedicating this much time to one subject is like, both devotionally and for my practice. I’m still reflecting on it!

Regardless of the subject or material I’ve always felt like I’ve been building this big ongoing archive through the years- an archive that is about observation, imagination, color, and feeling.

This is “the last moon” from December 31st and I just added it to the Moon Shop. There are still so many good ones available…take a peek if you haven’t! 🌚 I wanted the series to be especially collectible so they are all framed (5x7”) and priced at $150.

I won’t be making more of these paintings in the new year, but if you would like one for 2026 you can still book a moon commission in my shop for any special upcoming dates you’d like to commemorate.

This little block of wood is imbued with magic. If it’s not, tell me why I was compelled to carry it around for years, a cross-country trip included, until I saw the perfect rose to paint on its surface 🥀✨

Kinda cool to think that my dahlia paintings depict a lineage of sorts. The flowers trace back to the same tubers, divided and replanted year after year at the same local farm. I recently added a simple wood frame to this one.

This may be one of my favorite paintings I’ve made in a while. I realized it brought me back to the same feeling of these flour bag paintings from years ago. They were also studied from life and I get to look at them every day in my home.

Just did a big, absolutely celestial shop update ✨ 4 new moon paintings are up on my site now!

The first 3 images are full moons from this year- all 8x10 inches on canvas. The last image “moon ritual” is slightly larger and based on a vintage photograph.
