“Grief is love with nowhere to go.”

Watson passed away at home, surrounded by love, high on the equivalent of ketamine and a slice of banana (his favorite) still on his tongue. Honestly, the dream way to go.

There aren’t enough words that exist in the world—and even if there were, they wouldn’t be the right ones—to describe how much we miss him.

Watson. I don’t believe in heaven, but because I’m hypocritical, I’d like to believe you’re in a better place anyway. One where you can run off leash, catch a squirrel and chase after deer in the prairie without us losing our minds. Where you can soak up the summer sun before going for another round of frisbee. You can finally drink water normally again and eat those pizzles you loved without struggling, the ones that smell just about as good as they sound 💩 Please find and *be nice* to Sherlock, too.

It never gets easier. Ten years with you came and went—time passes too quickly.

You will forever be our missing piece, the ultimate center of attention. We wouldn’t have had it any other way. We will love you, always. Thank you for being ours. by @michellekras__
