Soft glam makeup product breakdown

If you’re looking for a soft glam makeup look that still has definition but doesn’t feel too heavy, this is the kind of combination I always come back to.

For the skin, I kept everything soft and polished, then layered cream blush underneath powder blush to build the colour and help it last. I added bronzer for warmth and kept the eyes in those soft brown and cocoa-cherry tones so everything tied back into the cheeks and lips.

The deeper lip was the finishing touch, especially with the wine dress.

Oversized shirt with denim shorts outfit

I had no idea what I wanted to wear, so I just started putting pieces together and somehow this worked really well.

I went with an oversized blue shirt, denim shorts, nude heels and a structured bag. It was simple, but the heels and bag completely changed the feel of the outfit and made it feel a little more put together.

Definitely one of those easy combinations I’d wear again.

What my first Muay Thai class was actually like in Krabi, Thailand.

I’ve done a bit of boxing before through circuit style training, but this was my first proper Muay Thai session.

Coming from a fitness and sports background, I tend to pick movements up pretty quickly, so I got into it fairly fast. But there’s definitely a lot going on at once with the timing, footwork, balance and technique.

I actually loved it though. It was challenging in a completely different way to the training I’m used to, and I can definitely see why people get hooked on it.

If you’ve been thinking about trying Muay Thai for the first time, just go and give it a go. You don’t need to know everything before you start.

Makeup worth buying from Mecca.

I’ve been trying a few new products lately and there are definitely some that I keep reaching for more than others.

I’m quite particular with makeup, especially when it comes to complexion products, how everything sits on the skin and how it all wears together, so if something keeps making its way back into my routine, I know I actually like it.

These are a few of the products I’ve been loving lately and using to create this soft glam look.

You don’t need to choose one aesthetic to have great personal style.

The trick is figuring out what you actually like, what works for you, and giving yourself permission to switch it up.

Feminine, minimal, sporty, relaxed; it can all exist in the same wardrobe. Personal style isn’t about putting yourself in a box.

How to make knitwear look more polished.

Knitwear can easily lean very casual, so for me it’s always about what you pair with it.

For this look, I kept the knit relaxed but added high waist straight-leg denim, a belt, structured brown bag and heels to make the outfit feel more put together without overdoing it.

It’s a really simple way to style knitwear if you still want the look to feel effortless, but a little more considered.
