✨ With so much love and gratitude for the incredible performers of the Michelle Mynx Extravaganza. ✨
To every artist who has graced this stage so far, and to those who will take the stage tonight: thank you. ❤️

Thank you for the countless hours of practice, preparation, creativity, vulnerability, courage, and dedication you pour into your craft. Thank you for sharing your talent, your stories, your artistry and your strength with all of us. What you create on that stage is so much more than a performance — you make this show come alive.

For years now, the Michelle Mynx Extravaganza has brought people together through art, expression, celebration, and community. Year after year, these performers remind us of the incredible power that exists in taking ownership of our bodies, telling our stories on our own terms, and showing us true empowerment.

And most importantly, you are using that power to help create something bigger than any one performance. Your time, talent, energy, and passion are helping raise funds for Metro East Every Survivor Counts, supporting survivors of sexual assault throughout the Metro East community. That impact matters deeply.

To the performers who have already taken the stage: we see you, we celebrate you, and we thank you.

To those performing tonight: we cannot wait to witness the magic, strength, and storytelling you bring to this stage.

And to every performer who has been part of this event throughout the years: thank you for continuing to show up, speak through your art, claim space, celebrate your bodies, and use your craft to uplift survivors.

Thank you for making this extravaganza so much more than a show. Thank you for making it a celebration of empowerment, resilience, self-expression, community, and survivor support.

With the deepest gratitude and admiration — thank you for bringing your whole selves to the stage. ❤️‍🔥✨

🚨🚨🚨 HEADLINER AND WORKSHOP ALERT!! I am elated to announce this fellow OG Stripper and Pole Pioneer as our third headliner for the 19th Annual Mynx Pole Dance Extravaganza! It is the one and only AM Davies!! 🥳
AM Davies (AMD) is the creator and host of YAS Podcast, formerly known as Yes, A Stripper Podcast, a show dedicated to sharing the real stories of strippers and sex workers.

AMD began stripping in 2002 and has spent more than 20 years in the adult entertainment industry. Over that time they have witnessed firsthand how strippers are often erased from the history of pole dance and misrepresented in mainstream media. YAS Podcast was created to change that by giving sex workers a space to speak openly about their lives, their work, and the realities of the industry.

In addition to hosting the podcast, Davies is the founder of United Pole Artists, a media platform created to celebrate pole dance while honoring the strippers who built the art form. They also served as Secretary of Strippers United from 2019–2024, supporting organizing efforts to improve labor conditions for dancers across the United States.

After surviving a scooter accident in 2018 that resulted in a below-the-knee amputation, Davies returned to dancing and creating art using a prosthetic leg, continuing to explore the intersections of performance, sexuality, and identity.

Davies is also the president of YAS Work, a nonprofit organization that produces media and educational resources about sex work while supporting sex workers as experts, artists, and professionals.

Through YASPodcast, AM continues to amplify the voices of sex workers and document the culture, labor, and creativity of the strip club industry. You can sign up for their seminar this Sunday at 12:15pm on my website in my bio! No pole experience necessary! 🙌 by @michellemynx

The longest standing Pole Dance showcase in the world, The Mynx extravaganza (STL) celebrates the diversity of the Pole world by featuring dancers of many different genders, ethnicities, body types, adult ages, skill levels, and dance styles. It also serves as a fundraising benefit for @metroeastesc , a nonprofit organization, devoted to providing free, emergency and long-term care and counseling to victims and survivors of sexual assault, sexual abuse, incest, and rape. Including members of the LGBTQIA plus and sex worker communities. If you’d like to be a part of this magical festival of love, acceptance, and mutual support, please follow the link in my bio to apply to perform by 11:59 PM on July 10. If you are not interested in performing, but would like to be involved, our sponsor and vendor forms will be up soon! Thank you all so much! I’m looking forward to another fabulous year of supporting this incredible organization! 🌈💜 taken in Casa Loma Ballroom by @michellemynx

We at Mynx Academy have a huge announcement to make! Our absolutely beloved, longtime studio manager and instructor, Kirstie aka @kirkirkirstie , will be opening her own pole studio!
Since Kirstie came on as studio manager, we have grown in many ways and I am so filled with gratitude for everything that she has done for me, for Mynx Academy, and our community. She has shown nothing but love and care for the space, the vibe, our mission, and our students and instructors. Kirstie is truly one of the kindest humans and most gifted and passionate Pole Dance artists and instructors that I’ve ever known! Her unique ideas and vision deserve their own space to grow and thrive. I am SO proud of her, and I know that she will be hugely successful as well as continue to share this art form with respect and integrity. Our relationship is as strong as ever, and we will continue to support each other and one another’s studios as well as collaborate on future events. We look forward to shared students and the growth of our community.
This is something that Kirstie has been dreaming about for some time, and I am thrilled to see her bring this to fruition! I look forward to seeing the space and dancing in it!
In related news, I am thrilled to announce that Karen Downey will be taking over as Studio manager come October! Karen has been an adored instructor at the studio for several years now as well as having tons of experience with administrative duties in this industry and others. Her knowledge, passion, and experience are vast and we anticipate a very smooth transition. I am so incredibly grateful that Karen has accepted this role. I know she is going to be amazing at it and I could not be more thankful to have someone who already knows and loves the studio as well as our students and instructors taking over these duties.
Thank you all for your support, encouragement, and love!

With Love,
Michelle Mynx by @michellemynx
