What a weekend.
I wish I had a photo of everything that happened, and every person who came to celebrate MY DEBUT TRILOGY BEING COMPLETE, but I am notorious for how bad I am at taking photos.

To everyone who came in to town for the party, to everyone who stopped by my table, to everyone who posted about the release from afar, I'll never be able to articulate how much you spending your time on my little magical world and me means to me. You have made this weekend a core memory. I'll never forget it.

Thank you for celebrating this milestone. I am so excited about what I have planned next.

And just like that, it's yours.

11 years of writing.
4 years of publishing.
Countless rewrites.
Late nights.
Immeasurable amount of tears and frustration.
Obsessive thoughts.
Dozens of notebooks.
Thousands of pages.
Daydreams.
Doubts.
Regrets.
Mistakes.
Determination.

All of that to lead up my debut trilogy being complete. I never thought I would get here. This was always going to be just a dream and a story I read to myself when I wanted to feel something.
And then you picked up The North Tower.
And then you read on to The Master’s Trial.
And now you want to read all the way to the end. And what a glorious end it is.

I can't wait for you to read it. I hope it is everything you want a finale to be. I hope it makes you feel.

Thank you for making my dreams come true.
The Royal Trilogy is now yours. 🫶 by @michellenhagood

I’m so excited to finally share this rebind of The North Tower by @michellenhagood @_theroyaltrilogy_ !! This is the first of two different rebinds using this stunning art by @books_to_gym_by. As soon as I saw the art I knew it had to be on the cover!

This is one of @thispaperdream god tier series and I wanted to surprise her with a rebind for her birthday. Once book 3 is released next month, you better believe I’m reading this trilogy!

Tropes:
* Dark Fantasy
* Dark Academia
* Paranormal
* Mystery
* Magic

About the book:

In THE ROYAL TRILOGY nothing is ever as it seems, and if you think someone is lying to you, they probably are.

Book 1 is THE NORTH TOWER, a dark fantasy, dark academia that blends the feeling of The Order of the Phoenix with the paranormal mysteries and found family of Supernatural.

Happy Monday!!! Where are my dark academia fans at??

“I ran—I would’ve crawled—which sounds fucking ridiculous when I say it out loud, but I thought if I could close the distance even a little, I could make it back to you.”

A. 👏🏼 Roman. 👏🏼 Empire. 👏🏼 Series. 👏🏼
The SLOWEST of slow burns, extremely high stakes, deadly trials and the most diabolical plot that keeps you at the edge of your seat, with so many twists, I promise you won’t see them coming.

Every part of this journey hit me right in the chest, it was SO emotional, the character arcs, how much many of them have grown from book one to book three, the stabbing relentless HEARTACHE and just all of the things everyone has survived to get to where they ended up. So much tragedy, so much loss, so much growth 😭

I think about this series at least once a week, and about how badly I miss them, and how I wish I could read this series for the first time again because UGH, chefs kiss 🤌🏼😫

Thank you @michellenhagood for sharing your beautiful world with me, I can’t ever have pictured a time where I didn’t read the @_theroyaltrilogy_ and ty for creating these characters that you absolutely CANNOT resist. I am so lucky to have met you, and i’m even luckier to call you a friend 🥹🫶🏼 taken in Out Of This World by @michellenhagood

✨The North Tower✨ by @michellenhagood

Where do I even begin with this one?? I love when a book makes you fall in love with a magical place alongside the main character. They ease you into and it’s like you’re one of the side characters watching the events unfold.

Now, I haven’t read a book that has people using wands since Harry Potter…did I think of that before picking up this book? No. But now I’m wondering WHY DON’T WE DO THAT MORE? This one brought the wands back and I was like yep I’m ready for class let’s goooooo.

If you haven’t caught on yet from other posts I’ve made - I love academy settings. They get me literally EVERY TIME. So of course this one having a magic school hooked me from the very beginning.

As far as the story, it was absolutely remarkable. It had fantasy, it had mystery, and maybe even a lil horror if you’re like me and get scared super easily. 😅 But all together this is a series that’s definitely going to stick with me.

I’ve only read book 1…for now😉. But this is a trilogy and book 3 comes out June 6th, 2026. So it’s almost like if you start the series now it’ll be perfect timing for the drop. 👀👀👀

What to expect in this book:
✨ Dark Fantasy
✨ Dark Academia
✨ Paranormal
✨ Mystery
✨ Lots of Magic!

“I ran—I would’ve crawled—which sounds ridiculous when I say it out loud, but I thought if I close the distance even a little, I could make it back to you.”

The Royal Trilogy you guys 😫 This series is a roman empire for me, that I can’t stop thinking about. Devastation, heartbreak, major character arc development, and literally my constant addiction.

The North Tower & The Masters Trial is out now, and the final book in the trilogy, The Reign of Fire will be out in June.
It’s SO hard to pick a favorite between books two and three, because both are so near and dear to me, but either way you’re in for an emotional ass rollercoaster that’s for sure.

@michellenhagood really knows how to grab your heart and tear it out lol. Thank you for creating this world and these characters 😘🖤 ( fingers crossed we get a novella 😫🤞🏼) taken in Out Of This World by @michellenhagood

The North Tower literally took over my life for an entire week because I was utterly consumed by this story! Some magical crack was inside this book because I was OBSESSED and was so hard to put down!

The best way I can express this book is if Six of Crows, Percy Jackson, Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts had a baby it would be this masterpiece!

It’s dark, it’s twisted, paranormal, murder mystery and true enemies possibly going to be lovers 👀 but like our MMC Master Kale.. he HATES HER and he wasn’t afraid to show it either. I love a broody mean MMC and I was sat for him!

The Magisterium of Magic school was so vivid where I actually pictured myself at this school while reading. I also love the unique magic system aspect in this story where you can actually steal other magic users magic 👀

The friendships were one of my favorite parts in this story, especially for Charlie ❤️ she really needed a good group of friends but Moose.. 🥹 oh I loved her and if you know you KNOW!

I’m beyond excited to purchase myself the 2nd book and drown myself into The Master’s Trials because I’m ready for another ride! Thank you @michellenhagood for creating an amazing book! I can’t wait to start book 2!

Another shoutout to my bestie @thispaperdream for showing her love for these books and getting me to start this one! ❤️
