“I’m not like Superman.”

After a year of putting this together, I’m finally done with this cosplay! Isabela Merced makes such a great Hawkgirl and I really hope we’ll get to see her pop up again in the DCU soon.

Although for much of her screentime the wings aren’t visible, I might try to make those at some point. But that’s a crafting challenge I don’t intend on facing for a while.

Thank you so much to @friendlygreengoblin for making me this awesome helmet!
Half the mace prop was printed by a friend then the rest was finished and painted by me.

It finally happened. I got the chance to meet the incredible Melissa Barrera! When she saw me her face lit up and her first words were “Hi Tara!”. I tried to make this cosplay as close to Tara’s Scream VI look as I could so her saying that really made my day. I’ve admired Melissa and her work for so long and I’m so happy I got to tell her that as a Latina myself, how much it means to me we got to have two badass Latina women at the forefront of a horror franchise like Scream. And I got to share my excitement over her upcoming horror film, Abigail. I thanked her for everything she does and for her strength and bravery. We got to have a nice in-depth conversation. She showed me nothing but utter kindness and I’ll never forget it. @melissabarreram

Dressed up as Panam Palmer for another Cyberpunk 2077 cosplay stream! This game is always so fun to stream. I have hundreds of hours put into it and still keep discovering new things.

Have you played this game and if so, who is your favorite character?

Jacket is thanks to @cossky_ 💜

I was invited to an early IMAX screening of #ResidentEvil! Of course I had to show up in Claire Redfield cosplay.

This film was easily one of my most highly anticipated of this year. I’m happy to say, it delivers. It’s non-stop CHAOS! Impeccable visuals with a pulse racing score and tons of gore. As a big fan of the games, I was not disappointed. Austin Abrams is utterly hilarious in this. Loved watching him have the absolute worst day ever. With one of the wildest third acts I’ve ever seen, this film successfully captures the feel of the games and I can’t wait to watch it again. @residentevil

⚠️FAKE BLOOD⚠️

Did a makeup test for my Nikki Freeman cosplay from the movie Obsession! I’m really happy with how it turned out. I even got her screen accurate outfit.

Thank you so much to @FocusFeatures for sending me my own One Wish Willow. Don’t worry, I don’t plan on making a wish with it. 🩸

With all of the casting and filming news dropping recently for the live action adaption of Life is Strange, thought it was an appropriate time to bring out my Steph cosplay! I tried to get my makeup as close to hers as I could.

Steph is one of my favorite characters in the franchise. @katybentzofficial does such an amazing job playing her 💜

Fatality 🔥

Here’s my new Kitana cosplay! Thank you so much to @cossky_ for sending me this cosplay. The quality of it so good! The material is comfortable and has such nice detailing. I especially love the fan props. They open and close so fluidly! Once again, another great cosplay from this company. Always happy to work with them.

“One batch, Two batch, Penny and Dime.”

Brought out my Punisher cosplay to a con for the first time. I didn’t expect so many people to comment on it. Got so many nice compliments! I’ll definitely be wearing this again, maybe with a few upgrades.

The first thing Wilson said to me was “Look at this badass.”

So happy I finally got the chance to meet him and talk about his series ‘Untamed’. He was so kind and I can’t wait to see what he does next in his career! And of course I’m hyped to see more of him as Bullseye next season of DDBA. @wilsonbethel

Attended a reception and early screening for Supergirl a few days ago.

This film has a ton of fun moments and a banging soundtrack. Milly Alcock gives a fantastic performance. I looked through reviews and think Eve Ridley deserves more praise! She was just as great alongside her.
Thanks to @dcofficial for the invite.

It’s been so long since I’ve last cosplayed Lara Croft, but I’ve never done this look until now. I realized I already had in my closet everything I would need to put this together. I ended up liking how it turned out! @tombraider
