Not the training build or the race I had hoped for, but walking away from my hardest marathon yet feeling proud of the grit it took to push through and knowing I’ll be a stronger runner because of it. It’s all part of the journey, and ultimately, I’m grateful for a body that allows me to keep showing up and challenging myself. Already hyped for the next one 🚀 (although at mile 19 I swore I’d never do this again 🤣)

My younger self dreamed of running the Boston Marathon one day but thought that idea was so far-fetched. She would be ecstatic to know that we’ve run Boston, NYC, and now Chicago 🥹⭐️⭐️⭐️

Shoutout to my coach @noushy14 for guiding me from the beginning of my marathon journey and for helping me (physically and mentally) get to the start line of this one 💙

Lastly, I raised $4,555 for @finishstrongfoundation_ — a HUGE thank you to everyone who donated and supported 🫶🏼

Entered my 30s by running the @nycmarathon in benefit of the Brain Aneurysm Foundation @bafound, and in honor of the one and only Christin Lynch. This marathon was about celebrating her legacy, honoring her family (shoutout my girl @kelsy81) & friends, and remembering that every single day is a gift. Running a marathon is a privilege - when training & the race itself gets tough, I remember & appreciate that I GET to do this. 🩷

Major shoutout to my support crew, cheer squad, every person who donated to help me raise $7,228 for the BAF, my run coach @noushy14, my dry needling/chiro wizard @drblotempio, and the best pace partner @oh.hey.jill 😚

Until the next marathon… 813! 💙🦋🧢🦕🏃🏼‍♀️
