Russia 🇷🇺 Pogranichnik

Recently snagged this nice pair of Russian Border Guard pants. They are about a size 38/30, and are in a great shape. They are very simple, with just three pockets, buttons, and a bit of elastic on the waist. The material is a tough ripstop, and the pockets are a rough cotton. This is a cool, distinct digital pattern, and I love the colors. Happy to have gotten them and can’t wait to wear them out! by @michigansurplus

Italy 🇮🇹 Vegetato

Just picked up these Italian field trousers, in a sweet pattern. Vegetato is an attractive camouflage designed to blend into the foliage of Northern Italy. This is a unique cut, which features six pockets, cord-lock cuffs, and button closure. Made from a durable ripstop blend, and in great shape apart from slight fading. About a size 34/32, these are going to a friend! by @michigansurplus

Russia 🇷🇺 EMR

Been waiting for a good deal, and finally got a field shirt to complete my EMR set. “Digital Flora” is a unique pattern and is very effective in the Midwest. This piece itself has an interesting cut and is in great condition apart from fading. It features velcro cuffs, underarm ventilation, back pleating, and three velcro pockets (one inner). It also has a velcro collar, plus a redundant zipper and velcro closure, and the material is your typical cotton ripstop. This is a large size, about 24” ptp, and the fading matches my trousers very well! Happy to have snagged this. by @michigansurplus

Austria 🇦🇹 Tarndruck SEK

Finally got my hands on some Austrian SF gear! This Austrian combat shirt is in a pretty rare pattern and cut, which was only produced for a few years before they switched to Multicam/Tarnanzug Neu. It is made with high quality, fire resistant materials, and is in great shape! Features two pockets, reinforced elbows, and a breathable midsection.

Got a great deal on it, but it’s just a bit small! Would love to trade for a 104-108 V/VI (Large/Long)! I’m also in need of a pair of Tarndruck SEK trousers in size 96-100 V/VI or 104-108 V/VI, hmu!

“Future Camouflage Pattern”

Just got this pair of BDU cut trousers in a super cool pattern. This four-color camouflage was created for the film “The Tomorrow War”, and is simply referred to as “Camouflage of the Future” or “Future Camouflage Pattern”. It is very attractive, especially in person, though it’s effectiveness likely varies a bit. This pattern features four colors (green, brown, gray, and black, which fades into a blueish hue) presented in overlapping splatters and flecks. The best way I can describe the geometry is like a combination of Flecktarn and Tarnanzug Neu, scaled down slightly. It was created by costume designer Betsy Heimann, and draws inspiration from real military camouflage patterns. This pair is size 36/32, and were artificially distressed with dirt, paint, and stonewashing. I can’t say for certain this pair is screen worn, but there was a tag with a credited actors name; Darin Ferraro, who likely played an extra. Very happy with them, a unique pattern, and they fit great!

Just picked up this excellent condition Level 9 Patagonia Combat Shirt. These are packed with features, such as shoulder pockets, elbow pad slots, camouflage velcro, adjustable cuffs, a zippered collar, and an extended hem. The body is made of a very soft, breathable blend (68% Modacrylic, 29% Rayon, 3% Lycra), while the sleeves are a tough no melt/no drip NYCO ripstop. No flaws, very minty aside from a small stain. This is size Large/Long, which fits me great! Adding it to my AOR2 puzzle— getting close to completion!

Sweden 🇸🇪 M90

Just got these awesome Swedish M90 pants, in good condition with lots of features. M90, or “Lövhögen” is a geometric pattern developed from 33% scaled down aircraft camouflage, which uses an attractive four color palette and sharp lines to break up shapes. Sweden has strict laws regarding military surplus transfers/sales, so commercial reproductions like this are common, and many improve on the original design. This pair features five large pockets, zippered calf sections, snap ankle cuffs, and a double button waist fastener. They are made from a durable 60% polyester/40% cotton blend, and have no flaws apart from some fading. Size 38/32, they are just a tad large for me but I’ll be hanging onto them for now.

Austria 🇦🇹 Tarnanzug Neu Beige

Send away post with some better photos of this Austrian cold weather parka. Tarnanzug Neu Beige is an arid pattern issued first in 2021 in Lebanon and Mali. It has a muted four-color palette compared to the typical six-color “woodland” Tarnanzug Neu. This is a size 96-100 V/VI (L/L) and is in unissued condition. It features a stowable hood, velcro cuffs, built in (very warm) quilted liner, cord lock adjustable fit, and pockets on the hips, arms, and chest. It is also Permethrin coated and IR treated. These are manufactured with a heavy cotton ripstop fabric and showcase a modern pattern exceptionally. Would love to buy one in a smaller size (24”-25” ptp).

Germany 🇩🇪 Palmenmuster

Picked up these reproduction field pants in the reversible German pattern “Palmenmuster” or “Palm Tree Pattern”. It is an attractive design which features leaf, grass, and mushroom geometry with overlapping layered edges. In addition, these we’re produced in two color variations for seasonal adaptability. The main palette was designated “Herbst” or “Fall”, and is mostly brown, while the other is green and was intended for use in the Spring and Summer. This pattern was produced and issued in smocks and helmet covers from 1940-1943, and was worn extensively during the invasion of the Soviet Union. It gained notoriety for it’s use by the Waffen-SS during and after Operation Barbarossa— probably won’t be wearing these in public. The pants themselves are made of a tough, almost canvas like blend, and feature only three pockets, an attached belt, and button ankle cuffs. Not sure who manufactured these— there was only a tag which said the size (36/32), which I removed to enhance the reversibility. These original patterns are super interesting to me, It’s cool to see the evolution of camouflage as I add more pieces to my collection. Plus, I like repros because I can destroy them without feeling bad! Glad to have grabbed these up! by @michigansurplus

USA 🇺🇸 AOR2

Finally got around to taking some pics of this Eagle Industries Lightweight H-Harness in AOR2. This piece of gear is part of the SOFLCS family, and is issued exclusively to components of the Naval Special Warfare Command. It was manufactured in November of 2011, is made with extremely durable materials and parts, and shows no signs of wear apart from slight fading. This is one size fits all, as it is highly adjustable with ladder locks throughout. These have some great features, like a split front design, breathable mesh back and sides, extensive MOLLE webbing, and a removable waist belt. Another awesome piece of equipment to add to my AOR2 kit!

England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Pattern 68 DPM

Just got these British trousers in P68 DPM, a pattern I’ve wanted for a while. Manufactured by J. Compton Sons and Webb Ltd. sometime in the late 70’s, these field pants are made from a soft, heavy cotton sateen fabric. They feature four large pockets, an adjustable waist, buttoned belt loops, and elastic ankle cuffs. 80/92/108 is about a 36/32— these fit me perfectly, and are so comfortable! Adding them to the vault, would love a jacket in this pattern! by @michigansurplus
