POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Who runs the deli world? Girls, it turns out—and the #DeliBoys themselves wouldn’t have it any other way.

With the second season of the Hulu comedy now on streaming, the titular boys—played by @alicomedy and @saagarshaikh as brothers Mir and Raj—are ready to fumble through their new roles as leaders of their late father’s cocaine business. But they soon understand that they’re anything but in control: Their real leader is Lucky, the aunty with an ice-cold heart, five-inch heels, and a strong Tony Soprano streak played by Poorna Jagannathan (@poornagraphy). Season 2 shifts the focus to Lucky while maintaining the magical ensemble chemistry shared among their trio of characters.

Often, it seems shows in their sophomore chapter face growing pains—but not @deliboyshulu. This time, the second season is stronger, tighter, wittier, and more multifaceted than the first, the physical comedy brought to new levels. Leading the charge for this second-round effort are Jagannathan herself, showrunner @michnader, and executive producer @jennikonner, who each sat down with ELLE to discuss the next chapter of the beloved Abdullah Saeed (imyourkid)-created comedy: “It was really rewarding to know how many people cared so deeply about it.”

We got to have this majestic little cat for almost nine years. Daisy was fierce. Just ask the lizards and birds in our yard. They actually stopped coming cause they were scared. But also so sweet. She groomed Wolfie like he was her very fat kitten. I’m indebted to @carasoin for bringing her into my life. Bruno, Matt, Wolfie and I will miss her every single day. 🌼 by @michnader

Michelle Nader went from being raised by the mob in Philadelphia to an Ivy League college to running major Hollywood comedy writing rooms. She’s produced hit sitcoms for more than 25 years. In this episode, we talk about standing up to her abusive stepdad, dating mobsters, how to not be the butt of the joke, writing sitcoms in the 90s, and being the only woman in the room. Michelle describes how you have to be like water, and Jules wants to be her best friend. Some shows Michelle has worked on include Shifting Gears, 2 Broke Girls, Dollface, The King of Queens, Spin City, and more. Enjoy this episode, sweeties, Michelle is the sweetie girl we all want to be, and we’re lucky to have her.

Not long after his namesake Robert Redford in The Way We Were passed, Hubble Drake, has left us too. He was a very sweet and gentle boy and became a distinguished elder gentleman. He was loved dearly by his family and everyone he met even for an instant. His barking legacy will be carried on by Wolfie. @delta_bravo_ @brunoodrake 💔❤️ by @michnader
