Sappy post warning 💚🖤
This past year has been the hardest for me physically and I’ve had to accept a new version of me that needs more assistance than ever before. This is when Coco (cane) and Sugar (cane) came into my life, and they have been such good helpers, but also a reminder of the change in my capabilities as a person, a performer, and a dancer.
I miss performing in drag more than anything. I have so many ideas, it’s just going to need to go from high energy to a lower energy version of MVD.
Taking time off from drag for my health was necessary, but halted my progression in a way that I wasn’t expecting. Which I’m hoping is something that can change.
Who never forgot me during this time was @jean.sequins and @aintmitzvahavin. I’ve felt the most love and community in the past year there.
The encouragement and friendship that @king_kayotic has blessed me with has lifted me up more than they probably know. I’m so thankful 🥹
I’m not done, I’m just getting started in a slightly different way. Lookout, MVD 2.0 coming to a stage near you soon 🌟

This is a love letter to Purimspiel 2026, @aintmitzvahavin , @jean.sequins and the rest of the cast and crew that made this happen 🎭
Extra loud shout out to my “husband” @king_kayotic and my “lesbian lover” @mimolettetheclown 💕
Working with everyone on this for the past few months was at times stressful, but primarily hilarious and so creative. Thank you for letting me be your Queen Vera 👑
Thank you to all those working behind the scenes: @ariola_drag @riel.thing @theaperolschvitz @sam.mcqd @callitmac and (seemingly IG-less) Orna.

This performance meant so much to me. The emotions I got to release into my craft. My beautiful grandmother’s dress. My favorite song, sang by my favorite person.
Thank you @dragstroll for having me again 🖤

Missing the Dyke Van a little extra rn 🚐
That queen was there for me when I had nowhere else to sleep and she kept me safe and able to continue to create art.
So thankful to have a wonderful chosen family who keeps me safe now and a school that wants to see me thrive ❤️
Looking forward to returning to MA in September to be able to continue with my art ✨
