Dans l'esprit du 20e anniversaire du OFFTA, le comité de programmation a décidé d'inviter des artistes de la cohorte 2025 de VOUS ÊTES ICI à présenter des premières parties lors de deux spectacles du festival.

Spillover, de Merlin Matthewson et Nadav Sadlik, a été présenté en amont du spectacle Al Warda, de Flame.

OFF BEAT, de Mickeline Couturier et Keisha Lourdes, a été présenté en amont du spectacle L'opéra d'or, de Geneviève Matthieu.

D'un côté, une œuvre débordante de physicalité, d'énergie et d'espièglerie, qui prend pour appui la jonglerie pour interroger les complexités de la relationnalité : la confiance, la déception, l'amour, le besoin de poser des limites et le champ des possibles qu'offre la complicité.

De l'autre, une œuvre au rythme plus contemplatif. Deux personnages aux cagoules ornées de gros yeux et de sourires dessinés se dandinent — d'abord lentement, bras ondulants, avant de se lancer dans des poses et mouvements de streetdance. Reprenant l'imagerie des « danseurs de vent » (ou tube men), ces pantins publicitaires gonflés par une soufflerie, les interprètes interrogent les malaises que font éclore les désirs paradoxaux d'appartenance, de reconnaissance et d'individualité au sein des communautés artistiques et culturelles.

Pour célébrer cette 20e édition, le OFFTA a choisi de mettre en avant certaines des activités de LA SERRE — arts vivants, organisme producteur du festival, qui soutient les artistes émergent·e·s en arts vivants à travers diverses initiatives et programmes structurants.

Parmi eux, VOUS ÊTES ICI, résidence de création pluridisciplinaire pour les jeunes diplômé·e·s (ou autodidactes!) menée en collaboration avec le Théâtre Aux Écuries, et qui marquera sa 12e édition à l'automne 2026.
