We don’t believe in “girls can’t.” We believe in, “Hop in, I’ll teach you.” Now Molly’s running the skid steer… and somehow Dad got promoted to mulch spreader. 😂🚜 #GirlsCanToo #BlueCollarFamily #SkidSteerLife #WomenInConstruction #RaisingStrongGirls taken in Milford, Connecticut by @mickos_construction

🚧 A logo isn’t just one logo anymore. When Mickos Construction came to MRZ Designs, they were looking to update their existing logo. After reviewing where and how they were using their brand, I recommended going beyond a simple redesign and creating a complete responsive logo package. @mickos_construction Why? Because today’s businesses need more than a single logo. Your branding has to work on everything—from excavators, trucks, trailers, and job site signs to business cards, apparel, websites, social media, and profile icons. The new Mickos Construction brand keeps the recognizable style they’ve built over the years while giving it a cleaner, bolder, and more modern look. Along with the primary logo, they now have a full responsive logo system with multiple layouts and variations that ensure their brand looks professional no matter where it’s displayed. This is what strategic branding is all about—creating a brand that’s flexible, memorable, and built to grow with your business. A huge thank you to Mickos Construction for trusting MRZ Designs with the next chapter of their brand! 👉 Which logo variation is your favorite? Let me know in the comments. If you’re still relying on one logo for every application, it might be time for a responsive brand identity that works everywhere your business does. 📩 DM MRZ Designs to start your logo, branding, or website project. #MRZDesigns #ResponsiveLogo #LogoDesign #LogoRedesign #ConstructionLogo by @mickos_construction

🚧 This is why I rarely recommend “just changing the text.” 👇 When Mickos Construction reached out, they thought they only needed a simple text update. The problem? Their original logo name was too long, making it difficult to use across equipment, trucks, apparel, business cards, social media, and marketing materials. Instead of forcing new text into an outdated design, I suggested something better… Keep the identity they had built over the years, but completely modernize the logo. The goal wasn’t to reinvent their brand—it was to create a cleaner, bolder, more versatile logo that still feels familiar while performing better everywhere it’s used. That’s the difference between a quick edit and strategic branding. A great construction logo should look just as strong on the side of an excavator as it does on your website, business cards, job signs, and social media. What do you think—should companies modernize their logos, or keep the originals forever? Let me know in the comments. 👇 📩 Send me a DM or visit the link in my bio to start your branding project. Save this post if you’re thinking about rebranding, and share it with a contractor whose logo could use an upgrade. #MRZDesigns #LogoDesign #LogoRedesign #ConstructionLogo #ConstructionBranding by @mickos_construction
