Sama’ Abdulhadi joined DJ Mag for a How I DJ session in association with @alphathetaglobal at IMS Ibiza earlier today, hosted by DJ Mag tech editor Michael Wilson ☀️

The Palestinian techno artist broke down her creative, technical and musical approach to DJing, offering a behind-the-scenes look at how she builds and delivers her sets, from careful EQing and sequencing, to her use of playful samples such as planes, birds and car sounds.

Based on DJ Mag’s How I DJ video series, the session brought the format into a live setting, combining an interview with a practical demonstration.

IMS Ibiza 2026 kicked off earlier this week (22nd April), bringing together leading figures from across the global electronic music industry for 140+ panels, performances and discussions.
