If 3 years ago, when I started painting books in my little bedroom, someone would have told me that GEORGE RR MARTIN (!!!!) would be signing one of my books I’d have had a big fat laugh. But here I am! One of my beautiful clients purchased this book and had it signed during the Oxford signing event. I still can’t wrap my head around the fact that @grrm_nm held one of the books I’ve painted…but even signed?? I would have not believed this even in my wildest dreams!

Thank you all so much for choosing to support me for the past 3 years, none of this would have been possible without you. And a very special thanks to @rhiannondavies98 for making this possible and for very kindly sending me this picture (you truly made my day, week, month, year!!).

Thank you!!!! 💐💕

Before I go into full autumn mode, here’s a little summer recap 🌾

A lot of wild camping, wandering through mountains and seas, board games with friends, cool places, a lot of reading, a lot of laughing. Funny how what initially started as an awful summer, turned out to be one of the best so far. Life’s full of beautiful surprises and precious gifts, you just gotta stay open and trust your gut!

Cracking the pages once the varnish has dried, is always the most satisfying part 😌
Also, I’d like the take the chance to let you know commissions for custom fore-edge paintings have now re-opened ✨

Behind quiet walls, echoes linger. Laughter carried by dust and lights. The outline of a memory.
A childhood suspended between presence and absence, where time doesn’t quite move on, it just fades gently.
