Oily skin & Microblading…

Let’s talk about if you’re suitable for microblading. Extremely oily skin & large pores are an easy indicator that the Microblading will not stay.

➡️➡️ swipe for example of excessive oily & large pores.

If is does stay chances are it’s going to be blurry and generally not what you desired.

✨ I wanted to post this picture because the first appointment hardly any of the Microblading stayed.

✨ When I notice these conditions on the skin. I will let the client know prior to getting started the risks
1. Nothing staying
2. Needing 3-5 sessions before achieving desired look
3. Pigment being blurry
4. Needing more frequent touch ups

I do get clients that are okay with those risks, but it has to be discussed because it’s a lot more $$ involved and I want them to have an accurate expectation.

Q: HOW DOES MICROBLADING WORK?
.
Artist will drawing shape using with eyebrow pencil and incorporating high technology ensuring accuracy and symmetry.
.
When shape is completely artist will show you and discuss shape to make sure you’re 100% confident with shape before beginning.
.
The artist will make a series of strategically placed superficial cuts that are filled with pigment. Collectively this gives the appearance of thicker, fuller, more symmetrical eyebrows.

“How do you choose pigment? I’m worried, it will be too dark.” -Mary Beth

First thing is first, if your artist uses low quality pigments you can run into a lot of problems. This is when you will see orange, red, green, blue healed results. 🙈

Because of this, I only use the best quality pigments in the world!

Developed over a number of years with maximum color stability and noninvasiveness in mind, the new and improved SUPER formula set new standards in the PMU industry.

* Completely clean, non magnetized formula
* Extremely stable color
* No separation of components or oily film
* Suitable even for oily skin
* Shorter healing time

I have worked with these pigments and many many skin types of all ages and colors. I am an expert at mixing pigments of determining which color will heal the best and give the most natural results.

Swipe to see all pigments and healed colors. ➡️➡️➡️
