2024年頭嘅時候, 我同自己講
「唔祈求啲乜嘢，同2023年一樣咁充實就夠」
點知真係仲充實過2023，仲忙，
同埋原來咁樣唔一定係好事。

2024 was a life of travelling...I was so overwhelmed with work I almost forgot It was actually the life I kind of dreamt of.
I might be working, but I’m not yet working on myself. I’m thankful for having people pulling me back into “life”.

1. 員工福利：getting to see 耶穌光 all the time.
2. So busy with trade show pitching I forgot to take off my AirPods (again)
3. @nickycth : “LeBron vs Curry，唔係唔睇嘛。”
4. 上機前行過Apple Store，即刻行入去試Vision Pro

Thank you guys for pulling me away from work and briefly back into life. I needed that.

In 2025, I’ll spend more time working on taking care of myself.
The older you get, the more you realise most things you hear are just the BS people tell themselves to stay comfortable.

Stay human, Stay professional, and most importantly, stand up for yourself. Thank you 2024. I felt like I grew up. by @micxmic

＜九龍城寨之圍城＞
是 SmokeGENIE 第一套正式參與製作
的商業電影。

當時係 2021年，
機器仲未正式進入生產階段，
淨係帶過件 prototype 試MV同埋廣告，
—路喺度諗：
“究竟係咪真係會有電影人用呢?”

11月，收到製片朋友嘅 message，
想同我哋公司買兩部煙機，
話”有部電影”要用。

我(淆底)：
“其實呢…我哋部機就未正式生產嘅！
不過唔介意攞兩部俾你哋試吓用，
睇吓效果啱唔啱！
話說呢，點解要用我哋部煙機呢？”

製片朋友：
“係呀！今次係大製作，
導演同美術團隊花咗好多心思佈景，
有好多場口都係後巷同埋細房，
所以根本唔夠位放傳統煙機，手提就啱晒。”

我（聽到係大製作，淆底 +10)：
“…明嘅！可以試吓！
btw你哋係點樣知道我哋有呢部煙機？

製片朋友：
“哦，係鄭保瑞導演點名話
想試吓你哋部SmokeGENIE嘅.”

我: ????!!

結果 12月就帶住兩部煙機去咗元朗探班，
做一啲測試 + test shoot
一去到就完全俾個景震撼到黐咗線。

雖然我出世冇幾耐城寨就拆咗，
但係行入個景真係有一種「親歷其景」嘅感覺。
同教科書入邊啲相係一模一樣㗎。

我諗呢個應該係我呢一世人最接近九龍城寨嘅體驗。好似小朋友去咗博物館咁，所有擺設都係歷史文物咁，好神奇。

最後，製片組好滿意，
結果就攞住我哋兩部仲係 3D print Prototype,一噴就噴足三個月。

去到煞科日，由於成件事實在太夢幻，
我冒味一問：

“可唔可以邀請導演喺我哋部煙機上面簽名，以作紀念？”
（真係唔知係哪裏來的勇氣 /唔知醜）

就係咁，導演親筆簽名嘅限量版SmokeGENIE零號機，
one of one.

祝＜九龍城寨之圍城＞電影大成功，
票房大賣。

今年年初，協助蚊導睇劇本
「今次呢個故仔，我要啲magic」
「ok! 」
「但係唔係真係魔術」
「…ok？」
「btw, 你做唔做Stand-in? 你好似幾適合」
「！！？」

What a cool project!
好欣賞導演每一個仔細嘅設計，
一齊度點樣用唔同嘅visuals
去營造每一個 ”magical moment”
最後出嚟嘅效果真係好好
(especially proud of the shadow heart moment!)

雖然只係Stand-in,
但係化妝+Stylist依然好認真，
個假髮真係好似(我本來係長髮嘅）

最後姜濤真人係真心nice
(首先唔介意我呢個相貌差咁遠嘅stand in😂）
Nice to meet you! And add oil with your magic ;)

[重操故業：油站魔法王]

12月某個下午，收到 @wong_kar_wai 電話

「要你幫手，幫我哋諗一個魔術。
油站景，要同車有關，一定要大畫面效果」
「…變到成車都係嘢算唔算大畫面？」
「算！不過有個條件」
「咩條件？」
「變入車嘅嘢，我要有咁cheap得咁cheap，我要整蠱一個人」
「er…….ok?」

相隔八年：繼特異功能之後，
再一次mission impossible
