Finally getting to share information about the potters in the area of Carcassonne France. I bought this lovely little cup by Martha Simeao. It's porcelain with simple black banding. Glazed only on the inside, but the outside has a lovely eggshell feel,

There is a map of the many pottery studios in the area. Definitely with a visit.

Great workshop with @markdallyceramics

Using his proprietary slip trailer included. It's easy to use, but requires a soft touch.

His designs are fun and free flowing!

Thanks @oceansidepotteryclub for hosting this workshop.

New batch of ATC (Artist Trading Cards) out of the kiln. It's hard to capture the beauty of the Iridescence of Amaco's Dark Star glaze. But really I love them all! Now to decide which to send. by @midcenturymud

ATC: Artist trading cards test batch out of the kiln.

Overall I'm happy. I will refire the Orange Bead to get more "beading" on the edges. Love the stroke and coat. Poor Ditto warped and the colors didn't quite work, maybe the ants got him. 😆🐜

Of course, all carved with my @buschkraftstudio tools by @midcenturymud

Definitely more work to do, adjustments to make for the next try but yesterday's live with @buschkraftstudio was informative! Thanks for always sharing/teaching your techniques Nicoli! The trading card project is a perfect practice size! by @midcenturymud

A few test playing cards. I'm enjoying these small canvases. I'm going to go deeper on carving (my favorite) for my next batch. by @midcenturymud

Step one of making pottery trading cards for the Great Pottery Trading Card project. Next step is deciding on designs. This is going to be fun! #pottery #atccardswap by @midcenturymud

Take 2: Taking the @buschkraftstudio wave pattern challenge! Studied the pattern a bit more and found my rhythm. So much fun, I couldn't stop!
