World premiere of Middle Class Guilt’s masterpiece, “Skald”!!!

Delighted to announce we will be finishing off the night alongside @logansclose at the Show Don’t Tell film screening at @eastgate_theatre on the 18th of September.

This curation of five short films display the peculiar influence the Tweed Valley’s landscape has exerted upon these filmmakers. Emerging from the hills, woods and towns of the Scottish Borders, their stories carry the imprint of a place both familiar and elusive. Across different genres and sensibilities, the valley’s isolation, folklore and quiet absurdities linger in the imagery and narrative of these works. Rather than searching for a singular thematic philosophy, or ‘Scottish Borderism’, this collection considers the Tweed Valley as a diverse and imaginative territory where myth and reality collide on screen.

Appearing in the collection are directors Aidan Duckworth, K.J. Craig, Jake Ballentyne, and Jules Che Thurlow. The programme will be available to purchase and rewatch on DVD.

Hello!!! We are delighted to announce we will be playing @1990.gla at the very first OTD alongside @kilgourtheband and @miniheidmusic on the 23th of July, which, as the poster says, a 3 band bill every Thursday with 100% of the ticket money going to the bands. What an experience to see live! It's rare you get such chemistry in conjunction with the wild energy brought forth to a gig but here we are as proof. The music was eclectic, the performance intense and joyful, and as a photographer I've not shot so many photos in a while. Truly a triumphant night of music!

We had a fantastic time playing to a sold out crowd in Manchester last night! Massive thank you to @lotidecollective and @thecastlemanc for having us and to @thefrench75band and @izzy.stcloud for the wonderful support!
Tonight we conclude the English leg of the tour in Newcastle playing @little.buildings with support from @smujband who joined us in Glasgow earlier in the tour and @silkroad_0 !
Then tomorrow we return to Scotland to play at Edinburgh’s @home_edinburgh promoted by @theforbiddenzone_collective with support from @musicofthesecondworldwar , @e.g.g.meltzer and @30thcenturyerotica
Edinburgh will very likely sell out so get your tickets while you can! They can be found in all the usual places
